Sudocrem

Sudocream was a winner for us. My first always got terrible rashes until I tried sudocream. My second and third baby have literally never had a rash last more than a day and all I've used is sudocream

We have used Sudocrem for the past two years, and it's been great for our son. It's nice and thick and provides a good protective barrier, but it isn't greasy and doesn't stain clothing.

Unless baby's bum is red (gets bad while teething for some reason) I use Vaseline and when red I use sudocream and it clears it up right away.

Naked time!! When our girl gets a bad rash, as happens from time to time, we do this before bed:  - warm bath or a gentle wipe with a soft warm washcloth  - lay out puppy pad on the floor - play! Try at least 10min.  - thick layer of Sudocrem, like frosting a cake Usually clears it up in a couple of days. 

We use Sudrocrem after every poop change since we use wipes and wipe a bit harder to get everything out. We also put some at nighttime. My son never had a rash, but maybe it's just luck! What's important to avoid diaper rashes is to change their diapers frequently. It's the moisture that creates rashes.

For everyday I like sudocream but for serious diaper rash I use penaten, for the "diarrhea" rash (I.e. when on antibiotics) I do dry time as much as humanly possible. . . My older girl was on meds at 8mos and I legit just let her be naked all day and just cleaned up messes as they happened 🙃 for night id layer soaker, sheet, soaker,sheet in like 5 layers and just peel them as they got wet when she or I would wake up then a big bath in the morning.

Baby butz cream! It has cornstarch in it and it's thick. Works like a charm. I use sudocream after poops, baby butz at bedtime and when I see any redness.

Weleda causes my LOs rash to get worse, it's so Interesting that it works so well for some but opposite for others! We use Sudocreme sometimes as a barrier over night but „heilwolle" or „fett wolle" and breastmilk is the absolute tits for us. Works so fast!

Triple Paste works great for us. My son gets pretty bad diaper rash and that seems to hold it off. When it was really bad Desitin Max Strength helped get rid of it. Sudocrem is just about the same as Triple Paste except it has a pretty distinct odor that got too annoying for us to keep using it. 

We started with sudocream but I felt like it wasn't really protecting my baby's skin so I tried penaten (I think that's the spelling) and I'm never going back! It has cleared up so much! Plus you can use it for all types of rashes as baby grows

I was also using Sudocrem and then Aquaphor when my daughter suddenly got a diaper rash around 5 weeks. Those creams did nothing. Penaten got rid of the rash almost immediately. Unfortunately she's still a little red around the anus because of the constant sharts but the nurse we saw recently said it's normal due to acidity in poop at this early age and to keep doing what we're doing- wash cloth instead of wipes, lots of air and allow bottom to dry before applying cream.
