Triple Paste

Every diaper rash post I see I have to share, Triple Paste is the BEST!!! My baby has had a rash maybe 2x this stuff clears it up within a day. She got a rash on her neck from milk spilling and I used that for it, cleared up quickly as well. The stuff is magic!

THIS. Triple Paste clears up what would've taken any other product 3-5 days in a single night for us.

Aquaphor for just daily prevention. Definitely Triple Paste for any actual rash though. It is so much better than Desitin.

Triple paste. Hands down. It's expensive but it was the only thing short of a prescription that worked for my LO with eczema. But as long as there is no rash we use the purple desitin every night for the overnight diaper just to save the triple paste for when we really need it. When you put the cream on, you want it to be a *really* thick layer. Like cake frosting. A lot will rub off on the diaper and it'll be messy and gross and you'll wonder if you put too much on, but if the rash is already there, you haven't. If anything, put a little bit more cream just in case. It's also good to give her as much diaper free time as you can. Fresh air is your friend because it allows the skin to fully dry beyond just the surface.

Triple paste makes a 3x version, that's what I use when it's bad. The rest of the time I just use regular triple paste. My girl had mild diaper rash for the first several weeks of her life and I tried everything-Honest, both Desitins, A&D, and Boudreauxs. Purple desitin helped but triple paste was what finally got rid of it. Boudreauxs was my least favorite because it was hard to get off.

Triple paste saved us. Chronic diaper rash had to use an anti biotic cream and hydrocortisone rx. But try not to use wipes. Get a spray bottle and make like a little bidet. Then pat dry with cotton cloths. And the load up the triple paste. Like you're icing a cake. We do it every change regardless of rash status. The derm said rash will go away when she's out of diapers. She's almost 13 months and this has been very successful! Good luck.

We love Triple Paste & have found that air drying the area before applying is helpful if the rash gets severe.

Agreed. Triple paste - creates the barrier. My child struggled and after many different paste, balms, and creams, triple paste did it. 

Triple Paste works great for us. My son gets pretty bad diaper rash and that seems to hold it off. When it was really bad Desitin Max Strength helped get rid of it. Sudocrem is just about the same as Triple Paste except it has a pretty distinct odor that got too annoying for us to keep using it. 

Triple paste. Use it ONLY when I start to see the skin getting irritated but then every time until is back at looking happy and healthy.

calmoseptine , calmoseptine , calmoseptine ( god sent ) I say it 3 times because is that good ! Son was cured after 2 days with a severe rash , and triple paste but the red one for severe rash . Also , oatmeal baths help soothe skin

Get the tub of Triple Paste, not the tube. Way better unit price.

An ointment with at least 25% zinc oxide and without perfume and preservatives. When changing clean with water and possibly some oil and not with perfumed wipes.

Both Vaseline and Aquafor have the same active ingredient, petroleum, which is derived from crude oil. I use them when I must but not something I want to put on my baby regularly.

matys or butt paste

Mom of four with particularly sensitive skin kiddos. I just use aquaphor unless the rash is particularly bad, then I do my own (ped approved) magic butt paste. I just mix in my hand equal amounts of bactrin (antibiotic), hydrocortisone cream (steroid), and lotromin (anti fungal). My ped will prescribe a prescription strength version of that but it's hard to get it compounded so I often just do that. Triple paste honestly I've used a bunch but it doesn't seem to work any better than aquaphor/vaseline. It's just a skin protectant. Also don't underestimate the value of naked time!
