Nurture& Glider Plus

After having a cheap glider for years with our first kid, we decided to upgrade to the [Nurture& The Glider Plus - Premium Nursery Power Recliner](https://amzn.to/3V855cJ) for the second. What a huge difference!! Highly recommend the Glider Plus - the lumbar support feature is amazing. We love how wide and deep the seat is, it fits my husband very comfortably. The material is great and super durable, and the buttons are easy to navigate and it's quiet to get comfy, fast! Soooo much better than a manual handle that launches you forward - makes a big difference with a sleeping baby! I was hesitant that that price would be worth it, but when you spend so much time in one spot with a newborn - it truly is.

We splurged on the nurture&. It's super comfortable and great if you're taller (I'm 5'8 and my husband is 6'4). I feel like I didn't truly appreciate how comfortable it was until we moved our now toddler into a big girl room and got a $200 rocking chair off Amazon for reading books/cuddling/etc. That chair fine and is also comfortable, but when you go sit in the nursery glider you're like holy shit this is a good chair.

I'm 38w so I haven't fully put it to the test yet, but I think I'm going to enjoy it for nursing and beyond. The power recline is pretty smooth and quiet (which I've heard makes a difference!) I've had pretty bad heartburn and my doctor suggested sleeping more upright so I've actually already spent a few nights in it and confirm that it was worth the investment..

Hi! We do definitely still enjoy it, though of course I haven't tried all the other options to compare. We've had it for a bit over a year and a half. It does squeak a tiny bit right now, although we've been meaning to add a little WD40 and see if that resolves it - but we keep forgetting because the noise doesn't seem to bother our son. The foot elevation only goes with the back recline, unfortunately, although that hasn't been an issue for us. I think it's a nice one, but I think my strongest recommendation would be just for any glider that has power recline. The power recline is pretty quiet, and overall just the smoother motion does a lot better with not waking up baby than a manual recline. I hope that helps!!

My husband is 6'3" and is fairly comfortable in my nurture& glider plus. He says he's a little tall for the recliner, but otherwise it works for him.

UPDATE!!!! Nurture& reached out to me and were interested in more details and trying to resolve things. Their customer service has always been very responsive and polite and I have no complaints there. Just an issue with quality control. They were very understanding and forwarded what I had to share to the design and development team, with the intention of making improvements in the future. They also offered me a small refund. A very generous act on their behalf. The company seems to have the end-user experience at heart which I must give them kudos for.

I have the Nature& Glider. I have to be completely honest - it's solid quality and a nice add to the nursery - but my husband and I hate it. You need Simone Biles' level ab strength to get up and out of it. If I were to do it all over again, I would've gotten an armchair with an ottoman instead.

We got the nurture& glider and it isn't the most comfortable for either me (5'5") or my husband (6'2"). It also squeaks a lot, which started about a year after we got it. I find it very annoying and we are going to get a different chair for the next baby.
