I love my babyletto kiwi and still use it a ton with my 2.5 year old. It's under $700 on Amazon right now. It's a glider and powered recliner and my 42 pound toddler jumps all over it and it's holding up great. [link](https://a.co/d/fAOEBzb)
Enthusiastic — 2.5 years of heavy use including a 42lb toddler jumping on it. Under $700. 'Holding up great' demonstrates excellent durability. Still used daily.
Babyletto Kiwi 😅 I didn't want to splurge but my husband did. And I'm glad we ended up doing it because it's been used every single day!
Initially reluctant about the price but glad they splurged — used every single day. Validates the investment despite initial sticker shock.
Baby isn't here yet, but I have the babyletto kiwi glider. It is a power recliner as well. I got it for my home office before pregnancy bc I wanted a comfy recliner. I also got the gliding footstool because my parents recommended getting one. It is very comfy and I can spend hours working in it with a lap desk. There is also space for my cat to lay next to me and I've also tested the footstool glider with an 8 pound cat on my legs (we both found it quite comfy). It is expensive, but if you have use for a recliner after you are done nursing, it is totally worth it.
Positive — 'very comfy', can spend hours in it working. Bought pre-pregnancy for home office use demonstrating long-term value. Wide enough for a cat alongside. Recommends the gliding footstool add-on.
The one we got (Babyletto Kiwi) I still use everyday to rock my kid before bed and to read in. Don't use the recline feature much but it was nice early on for nursing and tummy time.
Positive — daily use for rocking before bed and reading. Recline was useful early on for nursing/tummy time but less used later. Demonstrates long-term utility.
I have that exact glider. No complaints. And it definitely gets treated pretty rough by my older child.
Positive — zero complaints despite rough treatment from older child. Demonstrates durability under real-world family use.
I also like my Babyletto kiwi. It doesn't squeak or rattle. We got it for $615 tax and all. I would have bought a used one but there weren't very many available.
Positive — no squeak or rattle issues, $615 total. Likes it enough that they would have bought used if available, suggesting value awareness.
We tried a Monte in store and it was extremely comfortable! Ended up going with the babyletto because we wanted a recliner too but this was a top contender.
Chose Babyletto Kiwi over Monte specifically because it offers reclining — Monte was extremely comfortable but lacks that feature. Positive purchase decision.
I went crazy over this! Ended up driving quite far to try things in stores. It was just impossible to pick online. I was underwhelmed by Babyletto Kiwi (it's not cheap but wasn't mega comfortable). I loved the pottery barn deluxe dream recliner but was $2200!!! and they have huge delays. The non-deluxe one in my view is ok-ish but absolutely not enough to justify it's price tag. The deluxe one you can adjust everything, the headrest, the lumbar part, etc. makes a huge difference. So in the end.. I went to a La-z-boy store and found the most comfortable customizable recliner. and then found it on sale on wayfair.. It's the neo power recliner. I decided if I am going to invest in a chair I want it to be amazing.
Negative for the Kiwi specifically — 'underwhelmed', 'not cheap but wasn't mega comfortable'. Tried in-store and chose La-Z-Boy over it. Price doesn't justify the comfort level.
