Hello Baby Monitor

I have the hello baby one and love it! You can control the camera to move it and tilt it from the monitor, zoom x2 and x4 (but only in the middle of the view), and battery life is amazing. There's also lights that will light up when there is sound so you can mute the monitor but still know if your baby makes noise.

For non-WiFi baby monitor options, I've owned the HelloBaby and Eufy Spaceview, and both are excellent. We use the hello baby monitor. No wifi, it uses in-built radio. I've taken the monitor to the opposite side of our house, down stairs, and outside (still on property, near house) and never had it disconnect. Great color resolution, fairly decent nighttime resolution. Sound is good, and has 2 way communication if needed. Has a built in thermometer that's roughly accurate. Obviously, the camera has to be plugged in and the monitor needs to be charged, but they use the same charger, and the monitor has a big enough battery that you can easily just charge it while baby is awake and it'll go overnight no problem on power saving mode (only turns the display on if you push the button or it detects noise above a certain threshold. There's 3 thresholds, you can adjust based on your preferences and how close to baby the camera is. Third this, love our hello baby. It's not overly expensive and works so well. Also no WiFi is a huge plus

We got a Hello Baby color video monitor after I visited my friend and her new baby and it works great. We have a pretty big house and the range is very good. Can add monitors and cameras. You can pan around and adjust the camera angle from the monitor. It didn't break the bank at $79 on amazon for one camera and one monitor. Full disclosure I didn't do any research which is very unlike me 🤷🏼‍♀️

Battery isn't what it once was, but we do keep it on charge all day every day except naps and when we're downstairs in the evening, so we might have damaged it via overcharging. It can last long enough for those periods. The temperature sensor is good, as is the screen quality/night vision. Never had any trouble with signal to the parent unit anywhere in our house or garden, and the camera unit has been in now three different rooms since we've moved kiddo from our room into the nursery and now into his own room. All the paint has worn off the buttons, so we do have to tilt it into the light to see which ones do what now! Best rec I can give is we just bought another one for baby number two 😄

We got the [hello baby monitor](https://z00py.link/best-baby-monitor) on sale and it's actually pretty good. It's non wifi, battery lasts around 16 hours on video mode and close to 30 in voice mode which imo is excellent.

Yeah we've legit never had an issue. And it's been on multiple flights, we've moved, it's been dropped/knocked off tables... And still going strong. The literal only complaint I had was when we got it, the cable was too short to reach the outlet from where I wanted it to be mounted. But it uses standard adapters, so I just got a generic extension cable that worked totally fine. And I'm pretty sure I saw they have their own extension cable now anyway. Figure that's a very very very minor complaint and very very very easily rectified.

Also on the HelloBaby bandwagon! Ditched our Nanit for it!

Oh! And also the hello baby monitor still works so we'll be using it for baby #2 in a few weeks 😊

We have one Hello Baby for now for the cabin, since we don't have wifi out there and can't just bring our Nanit. It's worked well thus far. Range is good, but depends on how far you want it, OP!

I have a hello baby monitor, and it had a little Hole in the bottom that could screw into a standing baby monitor mount that we purchased for about 40$. allows full movement of the camera to be able to see the whole crib. Ordered a second camera that didn't have the hole, but the mount also comes with a grip thing for cameras without the hole. Would be worth to look into to not have to buy a whole system.

We've got one by hello baby, from Amazon like 4 years ago and it's still going, range is pretty good, only issue is just before it turns the screen off it goes bright white for 2 or 3 seconds with the logo which lights up the whole room!

You're welcome! Don't feel embarrassed… I discovered it an embarrassing way, myself! Haha. I traveled with mine and thought it was broken because the video would cut out after 10/15sec. BUT… come to find out, it was because it was cycling to another camera that wasn't hooked up, so it said it didn't have signal. I even contacted the company and they offered to send me a new one, which was great. But I feel like they should offer the toggling of this feature as a troubleshooting problem lol. I believe you can have 4 cameras hooked up to the monitor at once. It's easy to pair them. You need to press the camera button on the front of the monitor to either cycle manually, OR there is one selection at the end that has a little repeat arrow on it, which will automatically cycle through the connected cameras.

We have a hello baby! Not sure about split screen but it comes with whatever number of cameras you want so you can toggle between them

We have a Hello Baby monitor. It's the mid-range one, bought late last year but they already seem to have upgraded it and the exact one we have is no longer available. I wouldn't recommend the one we have unless you are really on a budget. I wish we'd paid more for a better one but we're here now. It works but it annoys me... 1. The sequence of button presses to set eco mode etc is too long 2. It randomly loses signal for no reason at all - often doing this when directly underneath our babies room 3. The one we have doesn't tell you the temperature (our old, different random amazon brand monitor did and it was quite useful) 4. Battery life isn't the best (I don't think it's as good as claimed) 5. Sometimes the picture freezes, again for no reason If you're on a budget then it is an acceptable baby monitor if you can put up with some annoyances, but if you can spend more then I'd recommend. Not sure on the top of the range Hello Baby ones - perhaps they are a lot better?

I also hate my Hello baby monitor, battery definetly doesn't last a full night, the cry sensor is awful, and it also freezes. I guess I'll try their customer service!
