Nuna Rava

We've been really happy with our Nuna ravas. We have 2 and will be putting them next to each other when the 3rd arrives (in a Volvo XC90). I spent way too much time going back and forth researching different brands and options, but for us the deciding factors were: They have one of the highest crash test ratings. Rear facing is 50 lbs/49 inches (my 99 percentile 3.5 year old is 42 inches so we're anticipating we might go straight from rear facing to booster). No flame retardant chemicals. And I find it easy to clean and much easier to install and adjust than my in-laws Graco!

I have a Graco and the Rava. I hate the Graco every time we use it and the only benefit for us is that it's much lighter so we can use it for flying. That's actually the reason my parents purchased it for us, was to be able to fly. The straps are harder to adjust, they twist, the cup holders are plastic and not built in (so you should not use them rear facing). The Rava is WAY more comfortable for my son, and overall just way better quality. We're expecting baby #2 and will be purchasing another

I love our Nuna Rava. They do make a rotating seat as well! The Rava is just super comfy for him, no chemicals in the fabric, the buttons are so easy to use (like the buckle clips and stuff). It's MILES better than our Graco that we have for flying.

Currently have the maxi cosi pria and after about a year and a half, we're replacing with nuna rava. The pria is annoying to install. You really have to wrench it with some big muscles to get it tight enough. The rava is much easier to install and incredible quality. I wish we had just gotten that one from the start. We had the nuna pipa infant seat and loved it. So easy to install and great quality. Plus if you have their travel bag, they'll replace the seat if it gets damaged while traveling.

The Nuna Rava has some of the best crash test ratings. My 6 yr old just maxed hers and will be moving to a booster. The customer service is also top notch. A side note I love that the fabrics are flame retardant free as well.

Nuna rava is the most popular and i can attest that it's absolutely wonderful. I also had a fast growing baby and had to switch out of the infant seat by 6/7 months. It fits all your needs except "maybe" the 2 people sitting in the back along with baby. It's not a wide seat, but it is a bit on the bigger side than most non rotating car seats. So it can fit in my rav4 backseat but it may be a bit tight depending on the person's body type and weight. For my first we had the Chico key fit 30, my second we had a Nuna Pipa and I would pick the Nuna any day of the week. We moved on to Nuna Rava's for them and my son prefers his Nuna over his Greco extent to fit in his dads car.

I'm a huge evangelist for skipping the infant seat and going straight to the convertible from birth!! I have the Nuna Rava and it has been great! I'm aware as they notified. It was due to the cinch mechanism. If I remember correctly, it was found internally during routine quality checks and reported voluntarily to NHTSA. It was the mechanism that in theory could become loose over time and not properly cinch the seatbelt. No reports of incidents and no accidents from it (or at least not that I'm aware of). Nuna was proactive about it and is sending repairs to any affected seats (made over like a 4 month period, so not all Ravas). The repair is a small metal bracket replacement that reinforces the cinch lock. Takes about 5 minutes to swap and they include clear instructions with photos. It's another reason I'm happy we went with them, overly cautious about safety.

We have a BMW X3 which should be a smidge tighter than the X5 and we really like the Nuna Rava. My daughter is 4.5 and still rear facing in it comfortably, but about to push the limits. Planning to get a second for our second baby.

Expensive as hell but Nuna Revv. We had the Chicco keyfit and Nuna Rava for our first and really liked the Nuna material, the fact that it was flame retardant free and extra cushions and things like that. It really feels luxurious and we confident in its safety features and ratings.

My boy is about to hit 2 yrs old in mid May and we are still using the Rava in my wifes Bronco. Its held up very well, and even recently had to remove the fabric and give it a wash since the baby had a big blowout. Was fairly simple to put back on as well. We are still in rear facing but hes getting closer and closer to the height limit for rear facing. We have resisted the urge to forward face early, but we are definitely likely to forward face once May comes around. Our son has already been trying to turn himself around to see the front side of the vehicle..he wants to know what's going on behind him because he hears the radio, me talking, the view from the windshield. I see him turning his head up and peaking over the carseat sometimes in awe of everything. Hes definitely ready for a change of scenery lol In my Jeep however I have an evenflo 360 rotating carseat, and honestly its been great being able to rotate the seat for easy access, compared to the traditional awkward motion I have to make with my aon to get him seat in rear facing since hes gotten taller. I have a much simpler time putting him in the Jeep than in the Bronco lol but that doesnt mean there is anything wrong with the Rava. My jeep sits a bit high off the ground though, which is why I opted for the rotating seat in my vehicle. Still, I have had zero issues with the Rava in comparison, and we will definitely keep using in the Bronco as our baby grows.

I have a 2024 rav4 and the Nuna Rava in the back passenger seat. It fits quite well. It It is a bit large, which is good so baby grows into it more. My boy was getting very tall at only 6 months we ended up pulling the trigger earlier for the Rava. We have been using it a month and a half already and it's been great, and easy to set up. 1 person easily fits in the backseat to accompany baby, but 2 "can" fit depending on the build but it's a tight fit. I wouldnt recommend more than 4 adluts traveling in it with baby. 3 gets by fine though.

We bought a Rava to replace it and I like it a lot. It's easy to install correctly every time and everything works. My kid fits in it really well. I can install it in the center position with LATCH plus top tether in 3 vehicles out of 4 and there's a decent sized bubble for rear facing. I think they're kind of ugly but who cares. It's more expensive I think, but the materials are way better.

This seat is one of the lowest price you can go that's still be in the good seats category. If you are fine with spending more, then Nuna rava is very comfy premium seat.

Nuna Rava. We also have the Graco Extend to Fit and Evenflo Revolve 360. Our kid hates the Nuna cup holder position, but complains the least about her butt hurting. It's the most comfortable. Can't complain about the cup holder on the other two. All came in with good ratings. We have multiple kids and have two Nuna Rava and the quality is the best of the bunch.

We have a Nuna Rava in my car and a Graco extend2fit 3 in 1 in my husbands car. We use my car a lot more than his so that's why I went for a more expensive seat for my car. I love both. I am 5'7 and my husband is 6'2. My 14 month old is a 99th percentile baby and fits comfortably in both seats. I personally didn't go for a swivel seat due to the low weight limit.

Omg. Life got busy and I forgot to reach out to Nuna. In the meantime, the other day my husband was taking the seat cover off to wash it and randomly noticed the crotch belt/buckle length can be adjusted! We only knew about the position being adjusted, had no idea the length could be adjusted! All of our Ravas were at the shortest length, so we immediately lengthened it on all of the seats our preschooler uses and he fits WAY better. Just came back here to share this little update. I feel stupid for not knowing the crotch buckle can be lengthened.

I have the nuna rava and a Graco contender. I personally struggle to get a good instal with the Graco. The Graco is our travel west because I am not about to lug the nuna through an airport. I do find the nuna to be worth it but it depends on your budget.

We got the Nuna Rava and the Graco Slimfit3 LX. We needed something smaller front to back as well as narrow side to side. These both fit the bill. The only reason we didn't get two Ravas is that seat is close to 30 lbs so we wanted our second seat to be lighter for travel.

I'd say easiest to transfer between cars and high safety ratings is Nuna Rava (downside is can't rotate and highly priced) but definitely foolproof when installing. I have the Nuna rava and baby gear lab rated it pretty high. It's on sale rn too for $399 at Nordstrom (only the color named Curated)

The thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have high rear facing limits. With big kids it was very important to me to have the highest rear facing limits so that I could keep my kids rear facing as long as possible. We ended up with extend2fit and Nuna Ravas. The convenience wasn't worth the risks of having to forward face earlier.

This. There are a few feature differences, but no one here can answer if they are worth the 200 dollar price tag difference. We have and love the Nuna Rava but looked at both that and the Graco Extend2Fit. - Nuna Rava is wider and has more padding. Is this better? Not if you have multiple children across the back or a small car. Not if you're lugging the thing to check onto an airplane. - Nuna Rava's upholstery is wool so you don't have any fire retardant chemicals in the fabric. This is nice — but 200 bucks nice? - The Nuna Rava has nicer reclining features which we've used exactly once over five years and two kids on a really long roadtrip.

We ended up going with the Cybex Callisto G 360 cause it's an all in one and goes up to 120 pound booster seat, expensive but worth the cost for something that's going to last until he no longer needs it. For reference my son is 6 months and 22 pounds! My daughter has the Nuna Rava, but with how heavy my son is we wanted a 360 car seat so we aren't breaking our backs getting him in and out of the car.

I have a Nuna rava and a britax poplar. Both rearface to the same 50 pounds, but the poplar is cheaper especially with the target trade in!
