Graco Extend2Fit

Extend2fit. My older kid is 6 and armpit height on me. Stayed rear facing in it until 4. Affordable. Easy to install. The 3-in-1 version of it also does high back booster which gets you through most of elementary school but the 2-in-1 is great, cheapest, and easy to find. But both have SO much leg room. We stuck with it for our second kid (3yo) and have it installed in a compact car (Nissan leaf) and a small SUV (Nissan rogue). Was t-boned last year and she barely noticed anything happened. Lite

You have a smaller vehicle so you want something compact. Extend2fit fits to 50lbs rear facing and is one of the most compact seats out there. We love ours and can't recommend enough!

I was you a month ago. I kept putting off buying a new one because it's so overwhelming. I HIGHLY recommend checking out this site[babygearlab]... I got the Graco Extend-2-fit 3-in-1 after seeing the crash test results, and the price is wonderful. My toddler and I both love it. Plus we got SO much room back in the passenger seat, it's very compact compared to the infant seat we had before. I purchased straight from Graco.com and got 20% off which was cheaper than Amazon/target, plus the manufacturer date was like February 2025 which I think is so cool since it will last for a long time before "expiring". We loved our even flo 360 extend revolve…. But my son's legs were SO squished once he hit about 10 months (he's always been well over the 99%ile). We upgraded to the Graco extend 2 fit premium dlx and we love it!!! He's not squished at all, and he's now freshly 2, 40 lbs and 41 inches

Graco has great car seats! I use the extend to fit and I love it. I think some car seats are just fancier for people who want more style or can afford it, same as anything else. They all have to meet the same safety standards! I also recently got the slim version of the rotating car seat for my second child because it's cool and I got it on a great Black Friday deal. I'd be looking more into space/size than price. Pretty sure the extend to fit ranks nicely on most categories. I loved it for my newborn now toddler!

We just installed our graco extend2fit and it's been a life changer. It didn't break the bank, fits well in our car (a Subaru suv), and I'm living for not carrying baby plus seat to and from the car anymore. If your baby has good head control at six months, you can start putting them in the stroller like a big kid. We also started letting babe sit strapped in shopping carts around that age so they could participate more in outings.

Another vote for graco extend2fit. Has been my favourite one! And my kids have been very comfy in them. It's also a steel frame which the ones at higher price points have, making it very safe.

I went with the graco extend2fit 3 in 1 for my Honda civic! We have been using it for a week and I love it so far! I liked the ides of a turning one but with a small car it is easy to put my son in and take him out with it facing back. Easy to install. Easy to level/adjust. Extended rear facing up to 50lbs. Heads up: went with Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Convertible Baby Car Seat, Rear and Forward Facing and it's been a great fit for everyday use and longer drives. The extra legroom and adjustability made a noticeable difference for comfort.

Chicco fit360 is amazing but depending on your car, it can make the front passenger uncomfortable. I returned it and got a Graco Extend2Fit. No regrets. Solid quality and will keep kiddo comfy with the 5in expansion seat.

We had the same priorities and went with Graco Extend 2 Fit 3-in-1. We wanted rear facing as long as possible with a higher weight limit overall since our baby is 99th percentile. He loves the seat, much comfier than his bucket seat that he outgrew.

We love our Graco Extend2fit. Reasonably priced and can hold babies up to 50 lbs rear-facing.

We have two of the extend2fit and we love them! We wanted extended rearfacing and something a bit more compact in order to fit in our vehicles without having to have seats be moved up so far.

I have a Graco extend to fit and we love it. It's so easy to use and it can rear face till the kid is 50lbs.

Friends who have the rotating car seats love the feature, BUT if you have a big kid they will look the most comfortable in the Extend2Fit for longer. I say look because kids can feel perfectly comfortable with cramped legs, but it tends to make parents uncomfortable to look at and consider switching to front facing sooner. We love how much extra leg room our kiddo has in the Extend2Fit.

We did the Extend2Fit. 50 lb rear facing limit. Great price point. All car seats pass the same safety standards. Most of the price difference is for bells and whistles.

My 2.5year old is still comfortably rear-facing in the Extend2Fit at 40lbs and 39," his little brother is 8mo and has been in the same seat since 4 months. My only complaint is I don't know if I could fit 3 of them across in my car when we get to that point 😂

Seconding the Graco extend2fit! Comfortable, easy to install and buckle your baby/toddler in, reasonably priced.

I love Graco Extend2Fit. Works well in my SUV you might vary in a sedan.

We really like our graco turn2me. My husband does daycare drop off and pickups every day in his sedan and really likes it. I have more of a standard Graco extend2fit in my SUV that got heavy duty road trip use with multiple throw ups. It's fairly easy to remove and install (to clean or travel with), padding removable to wash, and fits well in our airline travel bag I got.

I had 2 Extend2Fit on the backseat of my Prius, rear facing. Both of us could sit in the front (husband is 6'4, I am 5'10). I think the Cleks are slightly more compact, but even though they are Canadian, the rules are not the same between USA and Canada and only one Cleks rearface until 50lbs.

We have a Graco 3 in 1 Extend to Fit and love it. It was harder to put kiddo in when we had a sedan but now have a van and it is higher up with more space I have no issues. I could see a rotating seat being useful if you have a small, low to ground car or if either you or your partner have back problems. PS: that Graco seat was $75 off on Amazon as of yesterday

The best car seat is the one that will fit your child and your car. The Evenflo revolve extend is a great car seat but it's huge. Gigantic. It does not fit my small car. I have Extend2Fit for my 2 giant kids and I like them. They work great, safe and a reasonable price.

We have a the Evenflo revolve 360 extend in our big vehicle and the Graco extendtofit 3-in-1 in our small suv. We love them both but I'm glad we didn't splurge on the rotating for the smaller vehicle, it's absolutely worth it in the large vehicle but wouldn't make a difference for us in the small one

We've got an extend to fit and a slim fit LX 3 and both are great. Extend to fit is rear facing longer which is great but we use a combo of the different to fit 3 across

Agree with the other 2 comments. I have the evenflo 360 revolve in my Honda crv and I love it. Husband has the Extend2fit in his Toyota corolla and is happy with it.

Just got the Graco 3-in-1 extend to fit. Allows rear facing up to 50 and 49 inches. I have a tall baby so hoping it lasts as long as possible.

We have a Nuna Rava in my car and a Graco extend2fit 3 in 1 in my husbands car. We use my car a lot more than his so that's why I went for a more expensive seat for my car. I love both. I am 5'7 and my husband is 6'2. My 14 month old is a 99th percentile baby and fits comfortably in both seats. I personally didn't go for a swivel seat due to the low weight limit.

For the infant seat, we loved the Chicco Keyfit 35. For the convertible seat, we use the Graco Extend2Fit. We purchased the Extend2Fit with the rebound bar, though, which I think Graco might have discontinued.

I have an EasyTurn in one car and an Extend2Fit in the other car. I prefer the Easy Turn, but one benefit of Extend2Fit is I can adjust the recline position without detaching the car seat. For EasyTurn I have to detach it from the seat to adjust recline position. But I'm very happy with both.

Hey, my husband and I have almost the same heights but my husband is a bit taller. We drive an older rav4. Graco Extend2fit does okay, especially when they're younger and you don't have the legroom extender extended. I'd also look up if your car manual says it's okay for the car's front seats to be touching the car seat, some cars say to have a gap, which makes a difference even if it's like an inch. I honestly feel like if your husband is in the passenger seat he will just be a little bit squished till you can flip them forward facing. I do fine in the passenger seat while my husband's knees touch the glovebox a bit.

Nuna Rava. We also have the Graco Extend to Fit and Evenflo Revolve 360. Our kid hates the Nuna cup holder position, but complains the least about her butt hurting. It's the most comfortable. Can't complain about the cup holder on the other two. All came in with good ratings.

For my first we had the Chico key fit 30, my second we had a Nuna Pipa and I would pick the Nuna any day of the week. We moved on to Nuna Rava's for them and my son prefers his Nuna over his Greco extent to fit in his dads car.

I could write novels but ultimately I think it's a combination of getting a not-as-great model and personal preferences in a seat. We move seats around enough that an easy install is important. I find the E2F much trickier and harder to install than our Britax or Chicco. We also regularly drive 4-7 hours to see family, and the lack of padding makes for a less comfy trip for baby. The biggest issue though is how hard the harness is to tighten. I had to get everything in place, tighten from underneath, then pull the strap. The thought of doing that 2-3x a day for 4 years RF and then a few more years FF made it worth shelling out a little more for different seats!

I am OBSESSED with our rotating seat and I 10000% think it is worth it! I had the Graco Extend2Fit for like a week before I returned it for the Evenflo 360. That feature is an absolute game-changer for me. I say if you've got the extra $$$, spend it!
