Mockingbird High Chair

I was in the same boat… the mess from BLW was giving me anxiety and I was dreading feeding times. I was gifted a high chair from my baby shower and it was a nightmare to clean. I recently purchased the mockingbird high chair and I LOVE it. It's a game changer for me. It's easy to clean, the tray is dishwasher safe and the straps just wipe clean. You will not regret that chair.

The Mockingbird high chair is the one and I will die on that hill. Removable tray liner you can put in the dishwasher, wipeable silicone straps, converts to a child chair. No nooks and crannies for food to get into. It's perfect.

We have a mockingbird and love it SO much. It ticks all the boxes- ergonomic, will grow with baby, also has a smaller footprint and is nice to look at. Most importantly, it's very easy to clean. The straps are silicone and the entire thing can be washed off and dried quickly. We are very happy with it.

I was deciding between the mockingbird and the ikea chair. I went with the mockingbird after adding up the cost of all the accessories I would have to buy for the ikea and considering how low the weight limit was. It's been an absolute dream to use, and was very nicely packaged and easy to assemble. After wiping food off, very easy to clean.

We have the mockingbird and we love it! It's so easy to clean and the removable tray is dishwasher friendly. Also the straps/buckle is really easy to put on. I'd recommend it for sure!

I bought the mockingbird high chair after having a cheapy one off amazon that was so hard to clean. Mockingbird one is a bit pricey but not as bad as tripp trapp. The straps are silicone too which was a HUGE selling point to me. Ive been extremely happy with our purchase!

Another vote for mockingbird. We started with a Graco and hated cleaning all the crevices and the cloth seat. Switched to mockingbird a few months ago and it's a world of difference. Well worth the money imo

love the mockingbird so much and am always surprised to see how rarely it's recommended in the subreddits! it's so convenient, so nice looking. easy to clean. fits in a small space. a dream!

We have the Mockingbird high chair and LOVE it. So easy and it converts to just a toddler seat when they're older. Well worth it!!!! My friends have the Tripp Trapp and have already stopped using it with their 11 mo.

I have the mockingbird high chair too and love it. Easy to put together, easy to adjust, easy to remove the tray, easy to use straps…whole thing is easy to clean.

I have a 13 month old and we've loved our Mockingbird. We've used a lalo and a lalo-similar (at my parents house, who knows what brand it is), and I still love our Mockingbird the most. The removable tray AND adjustable tray (like being able to remove the whole thing and move it in and out) is great. I love how it's easy to clean.

We got the mockingbird bc we have a tiny apartment and it had the smallest footprint after the Tripp Trapp. In addition to being fairly sleek looking and easy to clean, it actually fits in our space!

I did some research and ended up getting the mockingbird. The mockingbird fits perfectly in my round dining room for 4, made it for 5 :) and the tray is very easy to clean (liner goes into the dish washer), it looks like a dupe of the stokke and all you need the stokke for, it has.

We LOVE our mockingbird high chair! We moved our LO to it from a standard high chair and he has been doing so much better with BLW.

I also have the Mockingbird and I love it. Its easy to clean (and it goes through a beating with all sorts of foods!) and as mentioned the footrest is adjustable, so this hasnt been an issue at all for us.

Had a Tripp trapp for my first but ended up giving it away, bought a Mockingbird for the second kiddo. Love both chairs, in my opinion the mockingbird is easier to clean and I like that the underside of the tray is smoother to prevent any pinched fingers or anything like that.

I've heard great things about the ikea chair however the mockingbird came in the exact same shade as our dining table and chairs. We wanted to switch out the high chair for a dining chair. I love it for so much more than aesthetics. It's got a small footprint.

My 8 month old is able to rest her feet flat on the footrest. It is adjustable so I adjusted it slightly shorter than what she actually needs which causes her feet to lay flat. The mom cozy is comparable, I just really loved the silicone straps mockingbird had which saves me a washing machine load lol

I looove the mockingbird! It also looks so sleek, doesn't take up a lot of room and comes in so many colors to match your decor.

Another Mockingbird fan - its so easy to clean, move around, and doesnt take up a ton of space. Highly recommend!

We've been very happy with the mockingbird! Unfortunately we live in the northeast but during the warmer months we had many meals outside and then would hose the chair down.

I would avoid the stokke tripp trapp, personally. That thing was sooo hard to clean. I got a mockingbird after and it was way easier to clean but also the seat is kind of reclined?

I have worked in childcare for 24 years and Mockingbird is the best highchair I have ever used. Like most baby products it is not perfect and for me there are two cons and one is a deal breaker for BLW families. First the backrest is not flush because the safety straps are attached to a big plastic plate that protrudes into the seat at the spine. The bigger con is the size and shape of the foot rest.

Yup, it's the tariffs. We have the mockingbird one. Bought it back in late 2024 for like $160. Now it's $250. I had to double check it was the same model when I saw the $250 price tag

We have the mockingbird and I really like it! I'll say that my baby has been on the smaller side and we kind of had a hard time using it when we first started solids bc there was too much room in the seat and she would kind of slouch.

As the owner of a Mockingbird, I will say the "two trays" feature isn't wonderful until baby can eat relatively cleanly. If my ten month old has anything other than peanut puffs she can and will figure out how to get both trays somewhat messy (obviously not the top of the bottom tray but all around the sides)

Also I have the mockingbird one at my mom's house, that chair is def not as good as the clikk. It has a double tray but my son is so messy that he gets both parts of the tray dirty anyway so I need to clean two things instead of one. So I just stopped using the double tray anyway. Plus the clikk one is much easier to get into, my sons chunky legs have a difficult time getting into the mockingbird and he's only 16 months so I'm not sure how much longer he's even gonna fit in it.

Tbh I have a mockingbird and really do not like it. My baby's feet touch but do not sit flat. I almost feel like the footrest is too short. And she's constantly leaning to one side - I have to stuff towels beside her.
