We got the foot attachment for him to be able to place his feet off Amazon which was probably another $15. We bought the foot rest 5 months ago and it's been amazing.”

IKEA chair is the way to go. We had IKEA plus inherited two other, much more expensive, chairs and the IKEA was the best; easy to clean, stable, just an overall no brainer.

Nope - you're paying for brand and aesthetics not functionality. Anything with a wood frame is going to be a right pain when introducing foods! The ikea white plastic one is by far the cheapest good quality option - tray goes in the dishwasher - whole chair can be washed off in the shower or bath super easy.

I have the ANTILOP and love it. Easy to clean and move around. I got a Catchy (plastic thing that catches dropped food) which costs more than the chair, but I highly recommend it. Keeps the floor clean and I can serve dropped food back to them.

Not at all. I usually buy into the fancy gadgets but we got the £15 ($20ish I believe) IKEA one and it's been great. You can get tons of accessories for them too, we got wood effect leg wraps, a cushion and a foot rest and still came to £50 total but the accessories are very optional. In the end, if it keeps them secure and reasonably comfy for 30-60 mins and is wipe clean, that's all you need it to do.

I've been happy with our IKEA high chair so far! I got a foot rest, leg wraps (just for looks), and chair cushion from Yeah Baby Goods, and those help a lot. The cushion especially adds a little more security as I felt there was a lot of extra space in between the seat and baby's back. It's been easy to clean and adjust as needed. The only downside so far is that the tray can sometimes be a little difficult to take off.

While on vacation for 2 weeks, every single restaurant and Airbnb we stayed at had the antilop. I tripped on it SO much, in so many different settings. I think it's because of how the legs stick out so far relative to the slim chair, visually you just don't expect legs that far out. By the end of the trip I heckin' HATED that chair.
