Parasol are better!!! No leaks no rashes and toatwllt chlorine free. 1000% worth it
Better than Coterie - no leaks, no rashes, totally chlorine free. 1000% worth it.
Huggies & pampers gave off a terrible odor when the diapers fill with pee. Its not my child's urine that smells that bad its the chemicals in the diaper reacting with the urine. So we immediately cut those out. We tried honest diapers and we liked them when our baby was smaller, but they fit odd and run kind of small. Right now we're using Parasol Diapers and loving them. They fit great and contain all blowouts! We love the clean ingredients and they're so soft. I know you didnt mention wipes but coterie wipes are top tier! Thick and large so you really only need 1 depending on the mess. Theyre a little pricey but so so worth it. Huggies wipes are paper thin, pampers wipes are okay, honest wipes are okay. But man coterie wipes are amazing!
Loving Parasol - great fit, contains all blowouts, clean ingredients, soft. Switched from Huggies/Pampers due to chemical odor
Surprised not to see Parasol in top 5. We used that for more than 2 years and never had any issues
More than 2 years of issue-free use - surprised it wasnt ranked higher
yes we don't usually get blow outs or leaks, most of them have been user error. i think the main thing that has sold me was the lack of diaper rash. the hospital gave our baby huggies and he had a horrible rash. they even prescribed pastes and powder to try and get rid of it. we had bought both honest and parasol (honest was just very tight) and once we switched to parasol the rash disappeared and that was that. because of that i just stuck with it. my little one does pee a lot though, so once he started sleeping longer stretched we got millie moon overnight. parasol held up for several hours as well, but i thought that a proper overnight diaper could be more comfortable
Diaper rash disappeared immediately after switching to Parasol from Huggies - no blowouts or leaks, held up for several hours
Just chiming in like others that Parasol should definitely be in your top 5! We use both Parasol and Millie Moon since you can get Millie Moon at the store in Target vs Parasol are only online (but Target always has good deals on diapers and wipes, like off if you spend so much). We have used both at night and never had any leaks. We had a couple of blowouts with Millie Moon BUT they were always at daycare (so I wonder if they weren't changing him right away) and when he was having tummy problems from antibiotics for an ear infection. We tried Healthy Baby when he was a newborn and had so many leaks, they were terrible. We also liked Kudos but they are more expensive than Parasol and Millie Moon and of similar quality so we stopped getting them.
Never had leaks using overnight - should be in top 5. Uses alongside Millie Moon, better than HealthyBaby and similar quality to Kudos at lower price
not in your top 5 but love parasol and hate honest. although honest wipes are my go to. also important to note that once you upsize there are fewer diapers in the box which might change your price per diaper. i never compared that because once i knew parasol worked i didn't really have any reason to look at that
Loves Parasol - once they knew it worked, stopped comparing other brands
Something not taken into account here is absorbency. Pura really lacks absorbency and wasn't very usable for my child that was a heavy wetter. Also, fit is so important. Eco by Naty just didn't have a fit that worked for my children in the smaller sizes. And I'm going to call BS on diapers saying they're biodegradable. It doesn't matter if they end up in the landfill. Things don't decompose in the landfill. Unless they're 100% compostable, or they're taken back like Dyper, it means nothing. I also don't find a wetness indicator that useful. But I started with cloth so it just didn't matter. Right now, Parasol is my go to when we're not using cloth though.
Go-to disposable alongside cloth use - prefers over Pura and Eco by Naty for absorbency and fit
The different stats are a great starting point to make a decision but at the end of the day it's about what fits your baby best and which ones are the most easily accessible to you. I wanted to love kudos but had leaks in both NB and size 1. My favorites are parasol, Millie Moon, and coterie based on some of the factors in your chart + fit on my baby (long and lean but with a little belly). I was using parasol which I liked but decided to try Millie moon because they're cheaper and I can pick them up in person at target, and they're working so well for my 7mo that I'm willing to sacrifice some of the "clean" factors.
One of top 3 favorites for long lean baby - switched to Millie Moon only for price and in-store availability, not quality
We kept having blowouts in Coterie despite sizing up and switched to Parasol. Problem mostly solved! Just didn't work for my son
Solved blowout problem after Coterie failed even with sizing up
Parasol are really nice and a little cheaper than Coterie
Really nice quality at a lower price point than Coterie
