Millie Moon Luxury Diapers

With my son I used Huggies because pampers leaked everywhere. This was 5 years ago. He use to get what I call road burn but basically a friction rash from them. They are very textured. I just keep him slathered in cream to help prevent it. My second child is a girl and I used Huggies and there again the road burn. A friend mentioned Millie Moon and they are so amazing. Incredibly soft, no more road burn. Very absorbent, so no rash what so ever. Her bum looks so much better and no irritations. More the wiser this time around!

I just tried to switch off Millie Moons to Luvs and regretted it so much. In over a year with Millie's I'd had maybe 10 blowouts. In a single sleeve of Luvs (maybe 2 weeks) I had the same amount. Today, I returned the unopened box I had and went back to Millie's, even though it's $5 more for less diapers. While I was pregnant I watched dozens of side-by-side comparison videos for performance. My findings were that Rascal & Friends and Millie Moon were the best. Both wicked up more moisture and contained it longer than other brands, keeping baby comfortable. Both were well regarded for their ability to withstand blowouts. We used everything gifted to us but I consistently found that Millie Moon was the best option, and at only $25 a box (less than Huggies and Pampers) it was an obvious choice.

My daughter is tall and chunky and does really well in Millie Moon! She's 30 lbs now and wearing a size 6. No blowouts! Just cause of how she's proportioned I feel like the bigger size fits her better. She's almost 2 now and we've been very happy with these. I'm tempted to try the Pampers Cruisers 360 now cause she's starting to show interest in Potty Training and it's a sort of hybrid diaper/pull-up. But that's the only reason. We love Millie moon

i'm team millie moon. love love love the fit on them for my chunky baby! i love the way the back flaps are so big so they can hug your baby's body. they are so soft and holds pee so well. i also love their wipes

We tried so so many (loved coterie but not the price) - ended up with Millie moons. Fit him great and we're up to size 5 now at a year old. Very few blow outs or leaks ever!

Millie moon. 10/10 recommend if you haven't given them a shot yet. You can find them at Target!

My kids are both potty trained now but we swore by Millie moon. Never tried coterie though!

Millie moon is our favorite so far. We have 1 infant. Coterie is good if you get them on really well but as a new dad, for some reason Millie moon was significantly easier for me to put on my girl and we haven't had any blowouts with them

Yes we love Millie moon. Rascals and bum bum also fit practically the same. Huggies gave ours a rash and pampers bothers my nose.

I love Millie Moon. No idea about the tabs not being sticky enough, never had a problem.

Millie Moon diapers + Coterie wipes I feel like Millie Moon is a good value for the quality and I stock up when there is a Target gift card deal. My husband hates poop so much that he pretty much demands coterie wipes.

The different stats are a great starting point to make a decision but at the end of the day it's about what fits your baby best and which ones are the most easily accessible to you. I wanted to love kudos but had leaks in both NB and size 1. My favorites are parasol, Millie Moon, and coterie based on some of the factors in your chart + fit on my baby (long and lean but with a little belly). I was using parasol which I liked but decided to try Millie moon because they're cheaper and I can pick them up in person at target, and they're working so well for my 7mo that I'm willing to sacrifice some of the "clean" factors.

Construction wise (shape, elastic, sizing, etc) rascals and Millie Moon are almost identical. There is something in the material that is different. Their websites are kind of vague but where rascals says they use "fluff pulp from sustainable forests," Millie Moon says "elemental chlorine free pulp." To me rascals felt thinner and maybe a little less soft. My daughter has crazy sensitive skin, certain chemicals can upset her skin but so can moisture like not letting her skin completely COMPLETELY dry after a shower and diapering her too soon. Diaper rash cream can even be too much moisture and give her a rash she's so sensitive. We tried switching from Millie moon to rascals last week and only lasted 12 hrs before we switched back to Millie. Something is different about them, I'm not sure whether it's a chemical/material or possibly rascals diapers don't wick moisture away from the skin as well as Millie moon but they're not the same.

Millie Moons are the only diaper we tried that didn't give baby diaper rash. We tried Kirkland, pampers, and target brand. They do size differently than other diapers though, I believe they run small. My only negative to them is that they don't have a stretchy waist band like other diaper brands do. But they are super soft and highly absorbent. I also like that target frequently does deals (such as $30 gift card for spending $100 on diapers and wipes).

Pampers runs large. Huggies runs skinny. In my experience, blowout is based more on fit than brand. We like Pampers a lot but ended up using Millie Moon and Member's Mark (Sam's Club brand) diapers. If I were you, I'd sample different brands to see what works for your kid best. (If you want absorption, both brands we use have been fantastic for overnight use so far.)

My baby had blowouts a lot with Huggies. We switch between Rascals and Millie Moon size 3. He's 18 lbs and pretty tall. They have really wide side panels and I like the scrunch back on them. But it's always so baby dependent!

Just chiming in like others that Parasol should definitely be in your top 5! We use both Parasol and Millie Moon since you can get Millie Moon at the store in Target vs Parasol are only online (but Target always has good deals on diapers and wipes, like $25 off if you spend so much). We have used both at night and never had any leaks. We had a couple of blowouts with Millie Moon BUT they were always at daycare (so I wonder if they weren't changing him right away) and when he was having tummy problems from antibiotics for an ear infection. We tried Healthy Baby when he was a newborn and had so many leaks, they were terrible. We also liked Kudos but they are more expensive than Parasol and Millie Moon and of similar quality so we stopped getting them.

yes we don't usually get blow outs or leaks, most of them have been user error. i think the main thing that has sold me was the lack of diaper rash. the hospital gave our baby huggies and he had a horrible rash. they even prescribed pastes and powder to try and get rid of it. we had bought both honest and parasol (honest was just very tight) and once we switched to parasol the rash disappeared and that was that. because of that i just stuck with it. my little one does pee a lot though, so once he started sleeping longer stretched we got millie moon overnight. parasol held up for several hours as well, but i thought that a proper overnight diaper could be more comfortable

My baby girl is nine months now. We have loved Rascals for overnight because they hold SO much pee. During the day, we use Huggies Snug and Dry because they are super soft and you get so many per box. Hardly EVER have rash and never any blowouts or leaks. Honorable mentions that we have also loved but we're too expensive for us to consistently buy were Pamper Swaddlers and Millie Moons.

I wanted to like the tcf diapers I tried, but none of them ever fit my chunky kids as well as Millie Moon. They are oeko-tex and tested non-detect for organic fluorine. There is also a perpetual gift card with purchase offer. I do wish they weren't so bulky.

Millie moon tend to run bigger, in my experience. They're also a bit, wider? Like they have more coverage and seemed to fit my first baby better than the other brands. FWIW I actually prefer rascal diapers, they're made by the same manufacturer as Millie moon, but they're a bit cheaper and I feel like they're more stretchy in the waistband area and tabs.

We like Millie Moon but the only other one we tried was Pampers. You don't need to invest in a ton, you don't even need to buy every kind. Buy one package of one kind and if you don't like it, move onto the next one.

I was surprised how much I love Huggies. I wanted to love Honest Co, but they leak SO much. It's like they have the lowest capacity for pee. I have to put my son in Huggies overnight or he will definitely pee through the Honest diapers. Millie Moon fits weird, like they're really short and wide. No issues with leaks though.

We tried Hello Bello, Pampers swaddlers and pure, Huggies natural and snugglers, Millie moon and parents choice. Millie moon did not fit our kids body shape at alll. I was super sad because I wanted to like those and they feel really nice. Hello Bello leaked every time we used them. Even the pure version of Pampers gave an allergic reaction or diaper rash almost instantly. Parent's choice is cheap and crappy imo. We are sticking with Huggies! They haven't failed us yet

We like pampers swaddlers. We tried buggies, but my kid is long and lean so there was just too much waist wiggle room. He had rashes with Kirkland and lava. We tried Billie moon and honestly diapers but at those prices, they better be the best damn diaper ever, and they weren't. Blow outs, and just didn't fit as well. Every kid is different.

We've tried alot of brands at this point. I'd say off brand has been just as good, if not better in some cases. Like we really disliked the fit of the more upscale Millie brand. And really liked Target's up and up brand, for like half the cost. I just look for unscented, that's my main concern.

We love huggies, hands down! Tried millie moon but they dont have the waist poo pocket like huggies do and every poo was an explosion up her back. Also tried pampers and hated tabs and fit. What I've learned as a mom is that everything I thought was perfect, non toxic and organic turned out to be the things that absolutely didnt work for us. Whether it was diapers, wipes, diaper dash cream, nipple balm etc. I was humbled very quickly 😂
