My power ranking of the luxury diaper brands we have tried (best to worst): Kudos > Millie Moon > Coterie > Honest
Ranked #1 of all luxury brands tried, above Millie Moon and Coterie
Yup, has never heard of Kudos until my son went to a very posh daycare in the city (they provided everything, diapers, wipes, food... everything but the extra clothes & bottles). This was a little over 3 years ago, we've really been through it with that start up before Shark Tank, it wasn't always sunshine & rainbows, they would often run out of stock, so I decided to double up on by sub quantities & the size changes, packaging changes etc. When his daycare didn't have them for almost 2 months due to supply delays, I went absolutely ape shit on the company IG & guess what? My son's daycare got their massive shipment 2 weeks later. I did a whole Reddit post maybe about 2 years ago breaking down Kudos vs Coterie feom a product perspective. I've been on Kudos about making pull up versions, trust me, they are completely aware of the people who want them. I truly believe in their product 100%, tried other environmentally friendly type of products and their quality is nowhere near where Kudos was at.
3+ years of dedicated use through stock issues - truly believes in product 100%, quality unmatched by other eco brands
We tried a bunch of different brands including pampers, honest, millie moon, coterie and Kudos is our favorite.
Favorite after trying 5+ brands including all major premium options
We've tried honest, hello bello, pampers swaddlers, Huggies little snugglers, and kudos. I was never able to get a hold of NB coteries and my LO was pretty tiny so we found most success with Huggies although he kept leaking bc his thighs were tiny. Now that he fits size 1 Coterie and kudos have been my favorite they seem the softest and coterie definitely seems more absorbent to me. Their wipes are also WAY softer and thicker than the others we've tried which I didn't think I'd care about but it definitely makes a difference for us- I only need to use 1 wipe and it is much more gentle on his bum (we saw a dramatic reduction in redness). My husband and I have pretty sensitive skin and obviously every baby is different but I really like them. Less redness and SO many less leaks for us. I wanted to not give into the hype, but for us it's worth it.
Among softest tried alongside Coterie - dramatic reduction in redness for sensitive skin family
Will depend on fit & skin sensitivity. For my babe honest gave her a rash, didn't wick away moisture that well. We struggled with fit with most diapers. Used coterie for the first year then found kudos and used those for the next year. I'd see how honest works on your kid, get a box of a few other brands and compare.
Switched from Coterie to Kudos after first year and used for the full second year - solved fit struggles
Freestyle is our absolute favorite brand. Kudos are also great. Coterie is decent as well. We also have liked Pura diapers, but at size 3, they no longer have wetness indicators, which I find only slightly annoying most of the time, but more problematic if baby is ill/dehydrated and we are trying to see if she has peed at all within a certain number of hours, as that's how the pediatrician's office tells you when to take baby to the ER for IV fluids. The Pura diapers also seem more prone to leaking urine when baby <is> well hydrated.
Also great - second to Freestyle as favorite, above Coterie and Pura
Have you used kudos recently? They reformulated and have a terrible, terrible chemical smell. They also are a lot thinner than before . I used to love them
Used to love them but reformulation caused terrible chemical smell and thinner construction
