ngl i overthinked the glass vs plastic thing for weeks lol. ended up with the grownsy because it was on sale and so many people recommended it. best decision ever. its super quiet and the footprints small so it doesnt take up the whole counter. my baby is obsessed with the mango purées i make in it. dont stress the glass too much as long as its high quality like this one. def worth the hype

I'd recommend the grownsy baby food maker. Glass materials can be risky due to thermal expansion and contraction. If it cracks, there's a real danger that tiny glass shards could end up in your baby's food, which is honestly terrifying.

I got the Grownsy but literally only so I can steam veggies. I don't use it to make purées as we went straight to BLW with my 2nd and it's been great

I can imagine how overwhelming that must feel, you're really doing your best. Tbh, I'd say don't stress too much about doing everything the "traditional" way. Parents mean well, but things have changed. Using a food maker doesn't mean you're cutting corners, it's just making life easier. We've been using one for a while and what we like is that you can steam and blend in the same place, and play around with textures depending on your baby's stage. It even has a sterilizer option which saves us some extra time. we ended up going with Grownsy and while it's not perfect, it's been handy overall.
