Beaba Babycook

I had a Babycook Neo and loved it. We were living overseas in a furnished rental apartment with zero extra appliances like a blender or even a steamer basket, so it was great to have a single tiny unit that steamed and blended. It sat on my counter full time for a year! I never had an issue with mold and just washed the parts in the dishwasher. About once per month, I cleaned it with water/vinegar because we had hard water and it would get calcium deposits. I honestly used it almost every 1-2 days. When baby was younger, I would prep a lot of purees in bulk and freeze them. I also just steamed veggies for dinner and used the rice and pasta basket too. We did a combo of purees and baby led weaning table foods.

We really like the Beaba Babycook. It steams and optionally purées. It's so quick and easy, i even use it to steam small quantities of veggies for my lunch.

The Beaba one is good (single is enough, unless you have space and wsnt to save 15 mins you don't need the double) and extremely easy to operate. We also use it for adults to steam small portions or make a quick puree.

A friend has lent me their beaba. If you plan to use it often, get the duo. Hands down. It takes 15-20 minutes to steam things and 5 or less to cut veggies etc. those extra 10-15 minutes are annoying with all these cut foods ready taking up all the counter space. Also if you're cooking chicken and a fruit, they both cook at different levels so have to be done separately then mixed together. Also, if you want to do a pear/apple and a pear/blueberry you're cooking the pear separate to the apple because you don't want them mixed for the pear/blueberry. End rant. Get the duo lol

I also did this! I have a Beaba and did really like it for ease of use, but don't think it's a must have. I also switched to Little Spoon after about 2 months, I've been very happy with it so far! Lots of food options, very convenient and very fresh!

We were gifted a beaba, but if we weren't gifted one it would've been totally fine. I do like that it fully steams/cooks whatever's in there and blends everything all in one go, plus it's compact. However we're doing a mix of purees and BLW, plus sometimes it's just freaking easier to buy a few pouches or jars - so I feel like the lifespan of the thing is pretty short. I'd recommend buying one second hand if you're really itching for a dedicated gizmo, but honestly a regular immersion blender/food processor will do the trick.

I have a Beaba and I feel mixed about it. I'm not sure it makes my life much easier. In theory it's the same as a food processor, but I feel like it works way better on frozen stuff. We usually use it to blend up frozen fruit in the morning. I can tell you that it does make killer sorbets and frozen margaritas.

I bought a Beaba BabyCook. It got a ton of use for a month before I started BLW. Once he got a taste of food with different textures, he won't eat purees.

Honestly not worth it IMO. used it a bit for my first (beaba babycook) and never even took it out of storage for my second. It's less clean up and easier to just get a food masher (oxo brand) and steam stuff in microwave if needed.
