I got [this](https://www.amazon.com/DaVinci-Marley-Convertible-Greenguard-Certified/dp/B0CQ2126GF) one and though we've only been using it for some naps, I love it! And it's only $199. I even dropped something on it super hard and there's a little dent, but the paint didn't chip or anything, so there's that haha.

I just went through the same dilemma and ended up getting the Davinci (ordered the Marley set in Walnut). First of all I'm really really happy with the quality, no regrets at all. Second, the dresser topper thing recommended for the set was a brand called Million Dollar Baby Co....I was nervous it wouldn't match because it wasn't Davinci. Turns out Million Dollar Baby Co is the parent company for Davinci, Babyletto, Namesake and others! I'm sure there are differences in the brand quality but

We got a Davinci crib and I love it! Very sturdy, good quality and under $200. I'm sure something from Pottery Barn would look just a little nicer but I can't justify $500+ on a crib

We got the whole set (small dresser, large dresser, and Colby crib) and absolutely love the quality and at affordable price! My husband was very impressed when he was putting it all together

Like carseats, all newly constructed baby cribs, and baby mattresses for that matter, have safety regulations they have to pass. A $1500 crib is just as safe as a $200. The $80 Graco crib mattress is just as safe as the $700 Newton one. We have a Da Vinci crib/ convertible to a toddler bed, and dresser and we like both, style looks good to us and both are very sturdy and well-made.

We had to scramble for a mini crib at the last minute and we got a Delta. But our regular crib is a DaVinci and we *love* it. It's solid, beautiful, and multi-functional.

No issues with our crib! We used it all of the early days and are still using it with the toddler bed conversion at age 3.5. I was thrilled that with the crib that I liked something that was not the most expensive option and so I just went for it, but it's in great shape and will be just fine for baby #2.

We kept debating on whether or not to get the Babyletto 4-in-1 mini crib or something a little cheaper, so I did a lot of research and found out that DaVinci is made by the same parent company who makes Babyletto, Namesake, and several other quality brands. So we ended up going with the DaVinci autumn 4-in-1 mini crib and it's been great. It's sturdy and well-made, my only complaint is that the holes for the screws are open and didn't come with any caps to cover them, but that's an aesthetic preference, not an actual issue. We love our daughter's crib and she seems to like it a lot as well.

We had the DaVinci and it's a great crib. We dismantled and reassembled it multiple times and converted it to a toddler bed. We've since passed it on to a family member and it's doing well for them too. Both options are good, so I'd go for the design you prefer most.

I have a Davinci Kalani for my son! Very big, doesn't fit through the doorway, so only assemble it once it's in the room. My son is 2 years old and still sleeping in it, and we've never had a problem. It's very sturdy. He tosses and turns a lot at night, bonks his head a lot on the sides, but it doesn't seem to hurt. He also went through a phase where he chewed the crap out of the sides, and they held up pretty well. We bought the toddler bed conversion kit but haven't installed it yet. My main reason for buying it was that it was a BIG crib (which has worked great with my son who has consistently been 90%+ for height), and the corners were rounded instead of a sharp edge like most cribs have.

Strangely enough you have listed two brands that I know are Greenguard certified and are not supposed to have any VOCs. We have DaVinci furniture and I definitely didn't notice any smells when we first got it.

I've had two Da Vinci mini cribs -- the first is now converted to a twin for my five year old, my two year old is still sleeping in the second. They've held up really well, I think. They've been gnawed on, sure, but that's going to happen with any crib. I couldn't see myself spending $500 on a crib.

I got the DaVinci Union crib. $139 and it has more mattress height options than the ikea one. It has been great for us. Packing it away now to save for the next baby now that my toddler is in a floor bed

I also have a Da Vinci Kalani in beautiful espresso color. It is indeed big, heavy, and sturdy. I like that it's solid New Zealand wood but it is a bit soft. My son chewed on the rail and you can see the scratch marks but these wood are safe and non toxic. Assembly was ok, there were missing screws that it wasn't too difficult to get a fast replacement. I used the crib for both my daughter and son and it's going to be used the third time for the upcoming little one.

Honestly just save your money get the davinci. As someone else said they are made by the same company. We have a davinci crib and it's nice.

I have a Colby 4-in-1 low profile by davinci with open space underneath, and a davinci crib with a trundle storage thing under. Something I didn't realize is that it's kind of a pain(very minor) to not be able to have your feet under the crib when bending down to pick up baby. Like very very very minor, but I keep hammering my toes into the storage drawer on the new crib now.

They will both get nibbled on when those teeth come in. ;). I had a Babyletto with my first, but also had a Da Vinci mini crib in my room before I graduated him to his Babyletto in his own room. The Da Vinci had wiggly legs, and according to reviews I wasn't the only one with that issue. The Babyletto was definitely constructed more solidly. We ended up having to return our Davinci crib. The spindles were not flush with the top rail leaving rough edges. I didn't want my baby to get cut on it. They sent us a replacement but we had the same issue. We ended up getting a Dadada crib from Bambi baby. They delivered and put the crib together for us.
