Really, nothing beats the Babybjorn bouncer, it's literally the best baby purchase we did. Our toddler literally stays in it for 30 minutes to an hour unbothered. Agreed! I have a bjorn bouncer that's 12 years old and has been through 6 kids now and it still works amazing, and my 5m old baby loves it (also have a 19m age gap). You can find them all over marketplace and they hold their re-sell value because they are so well made. The fabric part of it is machine washable too. Wouldn't be able to live without it!

My baby bjorn bouncer is a saving grace, probably my favorite baby item. Not for sleep, but he's so happy in it I can shower/cook/etc.

We absolutely relied on our Baby Bjorn bouncers when the boys were infants. Best baby items we bought. Yes, you'll need two and I'd get an extra cover so that if one is in the wash you can still use them.

We have the Babybjorn bouncer and it's honestly a lifesaver! Our baby loves it. The best part is that it doesn't require any batteries and can be easily carried/folded. We put her in it (facing us) whenever we need to cook, eat, or clean. She can easily spend 30 mins in it! I even bought the travel bag to take it around to our parents' house. That's how much I like it.

It's actually the number one thing I can't live without. My baby loves it too. But I especially loved in the early weeks when babies experience infantile dyschezia. I called it his poop throne. Every time he would fuss and couldn't go, i'd bounce him in there and 3 minutes tops he would absolutely shit himself LOL.

The swing will take up the most space. I've never heard of a rocker. We have a Babybjorn bouncer that both my kids loved, and it folds flat for easy storage. They're often available used, but I would pay full price without blinking given how much both kids like/d it!

To add to this (our girls are 7 months and solo bottle feeding would be impossible without them, we love our bjorn bouncers!) I toss a puppy pee pad on top- they absorb formula spills, spit ups, and blowouts exceptionally well and leaves the bouncers clean. I usually only have to change the pee pad a couple times a week- unless of course we have a blow out. Even with an extra cover I was washing them too often and I was losing my mind lol.

The baby bjorn bouncer is probably one of the best things we bought as my baby loved it. Expecially in those weeks when baby was only contact napping, putting him in the bouncer during his wake windows was the only way for me to eat/pee/pump and to do some basic chores at home.

I love my Baby Bjorn! Using it again for baby #2 right now. I loved it and he was in it so much. Got it used and resold it for exactly what I paid so in that sense it was a bargain. (I got it for $60 with a toy bar and could have sold it for more if I wanted but wanted to pass on the savings) Had a different bouncer with my first and it was barely used and resold for nothing. There's something about the bounce action and adjustable angle that they just got RIGHT.

I second the Babybjorn bouncer! My baby has one and she loves it. Plus I love that it is small, lightweight, and portable. We have used it practically everyday since she was 3 weeks. I also got a used 4moms rockaroo for free. Baby likes it okay. I mainly use it as a safe place to put her down for a minute. You can also wait until after baby comes to see what they like or what will work for you.

I've only used one but we love it, the classic baby Bjorn. She can be there for a solid 20 mins sometimes 30 mins now. She started liking it at around 12 weeks now it's her favorite place especially since we added those wraparound toys. It's easy to wash you just take it off and if you want you can buy a back up fabric for blow outs or other messes

We got a hand me down baby bjorn bouncer and my baby loves it! We will keep her in it for up to around 30 mins, more often even shorter increments. During that time I can meal prep, wash dishes, eat, shower, or even just get dressed for the day. Yes we could put her on the floor but she wouldn't be happy. What's great about the baby bjorn bouncer is it's light and you can easily move it from room to room with you.

It's also a poop chair! Haha I've had the experience with both of my babies (younger one is 6 weeks old) 10 minutes in the bouncer chair means a full diaper and sometimes blowouts. I'm not sure if they love the chair because it's comfortable or they associate it with bowel relief. Either way they both love it. My daughter was in it until she couldn't be anymore and it was tough to let it go.

It depends on baby. Mine didn't care for the mamaroo swing, but he absolutely loved the babybjorn bouncer. Id ssy buy 1 of them at the 3-6 month stage and see if baby likes it. If they don't, return it, and try the other.

We loved our baby bjorn bouncer. It's not electric but once baby is old enough they can make it bounce themselves.

The bouncer has been better for us, she much use out of it. Wish we'd not bought the swing as our baby didn't like it but would happily bounce away for hours

We love our Baby bjorn bouncer. It was gifted to us, but I have seen them on facebook marketplace for less than half the retail price. They can only be used until baby can sit upright on their own and the fabric part is washable so "used" is still pretty good condition.

My baby didnt care for the mamaroo electric swing. He preferred the babybjorn bouncer which is not electric. He liked being able to make the bouncer move with his movement.

I just sold the swing tonight because my baby is 21 lbs but she never cared for it until a month ago when she was 6 months old and already 19 lbs 😂 But the bouncer was the only container that the baby liked and was useful.

Babybjorn bouncer. It's pricey, if its beyond your budget but if you can get it as a shower gift or second hand, it's been so so helpful for us.

I second the recommendation to buy secondhand or borrow from a friend. We had the BabyBjorn bouncer and a cheap swing like the $60 one you posted. My second baby loved them and they both got almost daily use for MONTHS. My third tolerated the bouncer, but hated the swing as well as a fancy 4moms swing we borrowed from a friend… He basically lived in the carrier and is still a stage 5 clinger at 10 months old lol

I got a Baby Bjorn for a really good deal secondhand. Tbh, I don't think it's particularly amazing, but it's durable and sturdy. I would not have paid full price for one. Some babies love bouncing in the bouncer, but mine just likes it as a chair. It's also excellent for pooping. I ended up not getting a bouncer at all but got a swing just because I found a really good deal on a maxi cosi but stuff like this they don't end up using very long. Once he could roll he hated being strapped into stuff. If I have another kid I'd probably get a bouncer instead next time around but unless it was gifted or a good deal I'd get something cheaper with good reviews vs full price baby Bjorn.

Ergo baby bouncer! I often see it 25% off or on marketplace if $200 feels too crazy. But it's so much better than the baby bjorn one imo. It was one of the only places my baby would nap besides on us. They were very much supervised naps as I had to lightly bounce it the whole time, but I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Ergobaby, no question. It has an infant insert which makes it superior to baby bjorn. They are much more secure in there. I recommend just getting one to start; we have never wished we had two at 4 months in.

Maybe I just had a stupid baby but that baby bjorn thing did not work. I was so confused about why everyone loved it so much until I went on vacation with my cousin who has a baby the same age, and he was bouncing that thing like crazy. So heads up to anyone nervous about shelling out the money for it, if your baby is dumb like mine they might not get a lot of use out of it.
