As a mom who gave away 2 bouncers and 1 electric swing that were NEVER used for more than minute, don't even think about anything other than the [Baby Bjorn](https://www.amazon.com/BabyBj%C3%B6rn-Bouncer-Bliss-Classic-Anthracite/dp/B0CLVKDFTX?adgrpid=158170450503&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.DFJmbABa52nNW1_0Q0ZYxniyJhPAQo257FxA5clov3WdgxkfMfFnX8mjhRarAifVpUx6FpyMXd4bwWlcruu_JQo7T2oh_O_QgsDsdUtkWXTDlxiRfrDjG1DxI3jmzhUM88XRfcSF1tn9U3a8R0tUKw_9tNlSDq0P57G0Pclcs0gU-iuy3FZOrvRuPm6at4RzygLXrwYI60tvqXWXsQYf6w.qmLQ...
Best purchase of motherhood, daily use for 5 months, 30 min sessions, calms baby, portable, strong resale value, explicitly says worth every penny — strongest possible endorsement
The BabyBjorn bouncer is a godsend. If I could only rebuy one of the things I bought for my baby, it would be the BabyBjorn. We just did a short weekend roadtrip and my baby loves the bouncer so much it came with us. It's the only reason I get ANYTHING done.
Calls it a 'godsend', would rebuy above all other baby items, portable enough for road trips, only way to get anything done
Really, nothing beats the Babybjorn bouncer, it's literally the best baby purchase we did. Our toddler literally stays in it for 30 minutes to an hour unbothered. I think you can find it on amazon - [https://www.amazon.com/BabyBj%C3%B6rn-Bouncer-Bliss-Classic-Anthracite/dp/B0CLVKDFTX/](https://www.amazon.com/BabyBj%C3%B6rn-Bouncer-Bliss-Classic-Anthracite/dp/B0CLVKDFTX?&linkCode=ll1&tag=perfumerepo0c-20&linkId=66f77467bdd190691effe6e5c3a31c2b&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl)
Best baby purchase, 30-60 min use, toddler stays 'unbothered' — extremely enthusiastic
Agreed! I have a bjorn bouncer that's 12 years old and has been through 6 kids now and it still works amazing, and my 5m old baby loves it (also have a 19m age gap). You can find them all over marketplace and they hold their re-sell value because they are so well made. The fabric part of it is machine washable too. Wouldn't be able to live without it!
12 years old, survived 6 kids, still works amazing, holds resale value, machine washable, couldn't live without it — extraordinary durability claim
My baby bjorn bouncer is a saving grace, probably my favorite baby item. Not for sleep, but he's so happy in it I can shower/cook/etc.
Saving grace, favorite baby item, baby happy in it, enables shower and cooking — strong endorsement
We absolutely relied on our Baby Bjorn bouncers when the boys were infants. Best baby items we bought. Yes, you'll need two and I'd get an extra cover so that if one is in the wash you can still use them.
Best baby items bought, relied on them for twins, practical tip about extra cover — strong endorsement with specific advice
We have the Babybjorn bouncer and it's honestly a lifesaver! Our baby loves it. The best part is that it doesn't require any batteries and can be easily carried/folded. We put her in it (facing us) whenever we need to cook, eat, or clean. She can easily spend 30 mins in it! I even bought the travel bag to take it around to our parents' house. That's how much I like it.
Calls it a 'lifesaver', highlights no batteries, portability, 30 min use, bought travel bag — enthusiastic with specific features cited
I got a second hand baby bjorn bouncer for my second (also a 19month age gap) and it was worth its weight in gold. I know it's not exactly what you asked for, but just wanted to share.
Worth its weight in gold, bought secondhand for second child with close age gap — strong endorsement
It's actually the number one thing I can't live without. My baby loves it too. But I especially loved in the early weeks when babies experience infantile dyschezia. I called it his poop throne. Every time he would fuss and couldn't go, i'd bounce him in there and 3 minutes tops he would absolutely shit himself LOL.
Number one can't-live-without item, baby loves it, specific medical benefit for infantile dyschezia within 3 minutes
The swing will take up the most space. I've never heard of a rocker. We have a Babybjorn bouncer that both my kids loved, and it folds flat for easy storage. They're often available used, but I would pay full price without blinking given how much both kids like/d it!
Both kids loved it, would pay full price without blinking, folds flat — strong endorsement with durability across two children
Baby bjorn!!! Only one with the perfect bounce. Enabled me to actually get stuff done around the house!
Enthusiastic, calls it 'only one with the perfect bounce', enabled productivity — strong endorsement
To add to this (our girls are 7 months and solo bottle feeding would be impossible without them, we love our bjorn bouncers!) I toss a puppy pee pad on top- they absorb formula spills, spit ups, and blowouts exceptionally well and leaves the bouncers clean. I usually only have to change the pee pad a couple times a week- unless of course we have a blow out. Even with an extra cover I was washing them too often and I was losing my mind lol.
Solo bottle feeding impossible without them at 7 months for twins, loves them, shares practical hack for keeping clean
The baby bjorn bouncer is probably one of the best things we bought as my baby loved it. Expecially in those weeks when baby was only contact napping, putting him in the bouncer during his wake windows was the only way for me to eat/pee/pump and to do some basic chores at home.
One of best purchases, baby loved it, only way to eat/pee/pump during contact napping phase — highlights critical function during difficult period
I love my Baby Bjorn! Using it again for baby #2 right now. It's a place to put baby so he can see me while I get some stuff done (hair/makeup, dishes, etc.)—being upright means more eye contact and he has a better view of what I'm doing so he stays more content. The bounciness and cradling feeling keeps him calmer than a playmat sometimes when I need to set him down. We put him there after bottles since he's prone to spit up, so he gets some upright time after feeds. I put him in there when I n...
Using for second baby, lists multiple specific use cases (post-bottle upright time, saline spray, chores), compares favorably to swing and playmat
I loved it and he was in it so much. Got it used and resold it for exactly what I paid so in that sense it was a bargain. (I got it for $60 with a toy bar and could have sold it for more if I wanted but wanted to pass on the savings) Had a different bouncer with my first and it was barely used and resold for nothing. There's something about the bounce action and adjustable angle that they just got RIGHT.
Loved it, heavy use, bought at $60 and resold at same price, compares favorably to previous bouncer, praises bounce action and adjustable angle
I second the Babybjorn bouncer! My baby has one and she loves it. Plus I love that it is small, lightweight, and portable. We have used it practically everyday since she was 3 weeks. I also got a used 4moms rockaroo for free. Baby likes it okay. I mainly use it as a safe place to put her down for a minute. You can also wait until after baby comes to see what they like or what will work for you.
Baby loves it, daily use since 3 weeks, highlights small/lightweight/portable, compares favorably to 4moms rockaroo
We swear by the baby bjorn bouncer, my 14 week old loves it. We got ours in like new condition from the local once upon a child for $40!!
Swears by it, baby loves it at 14 weeks, found great secondhand deal at $40
Both my kids loved the baby Bjorn, it's easy to adjust, super light and cooler as it's not padded. I've recommended it to all my friends.
Both kids loved it, recommends to all friends, cites adjustability, lightweight, and breathability
Baby bjorn has singlehandedly made pooping so much easier for my baby lol
High-upvote comment citing specific functional benefit (helps baby poop), enthusiastic tone
I've only used one but we love it, the classic baby Bjorn. She can be there for a solid 20 mins sometimes 30 mins now. She started liking it at around 12 weeks now it's her favorite place especially since we added those wraparound toys. It's easy to wash you just take it off and if you want you can buy a back up fabric for blow outs or other messes
Loves it, 20-30 min use, started at 12 weeks, now baby's favorite place, notes easy-wash feature and backup fabric option
We got a hand me down baby bjorn bouncer and my baby loves it! We will keep her in it for up to around 30 mins, more often even shorter increments. During that time I can meal prep, wash dishes, eat, shower, or even just get dressed for the day. Yes we could put her on the floor but she wouldn't be happy. What's great about the baby bjorn bouncer is it's light and you can easily move it from room to room with you.
Baby loves it, 30 min use, highlights lightweight portability room-to-room, lists specific tasks enabled
It's also a poop chair! Haha I've had the experience with both of my babies (younger one is 6 weeks old) 10 minutes in the bouncer chair means a full diaper and sometimes blowouts. I'm not sure if they love the chair because it's comfortable or they associate it with bowel relief. Either way they both love it. My daughter was in it until she couldn't be anymore and it was tough to let it go.
Both babies love it, used until outgrown, highlights poop-facilitating benefit, tough to let go — strong positive across two kids
I have a baby bjorn bouncer and use it multiple times everyday. Also have a 4moms swing which I'm still using and bub is 3 months. I only paid $80 second had though, I wouldn't spend the money on a new one
Uses multiple times every day — high frequency of use indicates strong value
It depends on baby. Mine didn't care for the mamaroo swing, but he absolutely loved the babybjorn bouncer. Id ssy buy 1 of them at the 3-6 month stage and see if baby likes it. If they don't, return it, and try the other.
Baby 'absolutely loved' the BabyBjorn bouncer, preferred it over MamaRoo — direct positive experience with comparison
We loved our baby bjorn bouncer. It's not electric but once baby is old enough they can make it bounce themselves.
Loved it, highlights self-bouncing feature as benefit — positive with specific detail about baby-powered motion
The bouncer has been better for us, she much use out of it. Wish we'd not bought the swing as our baby didn't like it but would happily bounce away for hours
Baby bounces happily for hours, much use, preferred over swing which was regretted purchase
We love our Baby bjorn bouncer. It was gifted to us, but I have seen them on facebook marketplace for less than half the retail price. They can only be used until baby can sit upright on their own and the fabric part is washable so "used" is still pretty good condition.
Loves it, notes washable fabric and good secondhand value, provides useful lifespan info
My baby didnt care for the mamaroo electric swing. He preferred the babybjorn bouncer which is not electric. He liked being able to make the bouncer move with his movement.
Baby preferred BabyBjorn over MamaRoo, liked self-powered bouncing — positive with specific preference detail
My baby loves his baby bjorn bouncer, hates his swing, and won't sleep (or soothe to sleep) in either!
Baby loves the bouncer specifically while hating the swing — direct positive comparison
I just sold the swing tonight because my baby is 21 lbs but she never cared for it until a month ago when she was 6 months old and already 19 lbs 😂 But the bouncer was the only container that the baby liked and was useful.
Only container baby liked and was useful, preferred over swing — direct comparison from experience
Babybjorn bouncer. It's pricey, if its beyond your budget but if you can get it as a shower gift or second hand, it's been so so helpful for us.
Positive ('so so helpful') but acknowledges price as a barrier — positive with caveat about cost
I second the recommendation to buy secondhand or borrow from a friend. We had the BabyBjorn bouncer and a cheap swing like the $60 one you posted. My second baby loved them and they both got almost daily use for MONTHS. My third tolerated the bouncer, but hated the swing as well as a fancy 4moms swing we borrowed from a friend… He basically lived in the carrier and is still a stage 5 clinger at 10 months old lol
Second baby loved it with daily use for months, third only tolerated it — positive overall but notes baby-dependent variability
I got a Baby Bjorn for a really good deal secondhand. Tbh, I don't think it's particularly amazing, but it's durable and sturdy. I would not have paid full price for one. Some babies love bouncing in the bouncer, but mine just likes it as a chair. It's also excellent for pooping. She'll be 7 months in 4 days and is close to growing out of it (weight limit is 20 pounds *or* stop using if baby is trying to sit up on their own before then). We've gotten really good use out of it. So if you feel con...
Positive overall (durable, sturdy, good use, pooping benefit) but wouldn't pay full price, notes it's not 'amazing' — positive with clear caveats
Your toddler was willing to sit in a bouncer until almost age 2?? Both of mine were too busy moving by like 8 months to sit in a bouncer.
Owns the product, notes babies outgrew it by 8 months — factual observation about longevity, neither positive nor negative
> till my baby outgrew it This is why I didn't get a baby Bjorn. I ended up not getting a bouncer at all but got a swing just because I found a really good deal on a maxi cosi but stuff like this they don't end up using very long. Once he could roll he hated being strapped into stuff. If I have another kid I'd probably get a bouncer instead next time around but unless it was gifted or a good deal I'd get something cheaper with good reviews vs full price baby Bjorn.
Didn't buy due to price/short use window, would choose cheaper alternative over full-price BabyBjorn, but would consider a bouncer next time
Ergo baby bouncer! I often see it 25% off or on marketplace if $200 feels too crazy. But it's so much better than the baby bjorn one imo. It was one of the only places my baby would nap besides on us. They were very much supervised naps as I had to lightly bounce it the whole time, but I definitely recommend it to everyone!
Explicitly says Ergobaby is 'so much better than the baby bjorn one' — negative comparison for BabyBjorn specifically
Ergobaby, no question. It has an infant insert which makes it superior to baby bjorn. They are much more secure in there. I recommend just getting one to start; we have never wished we had two at 4 months in.
Directly says Ergobaby is 'superior to baby bjorn' due to infant insert and security — negative comparison for BabyBjorn
Maybe I just had a stupid baby but that baby bjorn thing did not work. I was so confused about why everyone loved it so much until I went on vacation with my cousin who has a baby the same age, and he was bouncing that thing like crazy. So heads up to anyone nervous about shelling out the money for it, if your baby is dumb like mine they might not get a lot of use out of it.
Product did not work for their baby, warns others about risk of spending money on it — direct negative experience
