For us it's been worth it's weight in gold. I caved and rented at 8 weeks when her longest stretch was 4.5 hours (not terrible, but I was spending a good hour of that rocking the bassinet to keep her asleep and it was killing me), received at 9 weeks. By 10 weeks she was sleeping 10+ hours a night.
Worth its weight in gold — went from 4.5 hour stretches to 10+ hours in one week
Snoo has been an absolute game changer. highly recommend. you can find secondhand for cheaper but honestly it's worth every penny and then some
Game changer — worth every penny, highly recommends
If I could marry the snoo I would.
Extremely enthusiastic — humorous hyperbole indicates exceptional satisfaction
My son is a snoo graduate and sleeps a full 12 hours at night. He only wakes up if he's teething, which he was last night, so he woke up after 9 hours instead of 12, which is still fantastic sleep. For me, the biggest reason to go with a snoo was, that despite being super popular and out for several years, there have been zero infant deaths or sids reported with the snoo. It just gave me so much peace of mind as a new parent. We're pregnant with twins now and going to buy a second one.
12-hour sleeper — buying second for twins, cites zero SIDS deaths as peace of mind
Absolutely loved the SNOO! I believe it taught our baby how to fall asleep independently. She's nearly 10 months now. We never sleep trained her, but she falls asleep independently. Some nights she cries for 3 minutes, but usually she just lies down and goes to sleep. I have anxiety and knowing that I could spend less than the cost of one month of daycare to keep my baby sleeping on her back and thereby reduce the risk of SIDS was the reason I wanted the SNOO. Everything else was a bonus. FW...
Absolutely loved — taught independent sleep, no sleep training needed, SIDS peace of mind
Absolutely loved it. Apparently a big thing for helping your kid learn to be a good sleeper is putting them down drowsy but awake. We could only do that with the snoo soothing her the rest of the way when she was little. She was a big baby and we switched to bottles/formula pretty quickly so I can't say it was JUST the snoo that got her sleeping so well. But I think it definitely helped create good sleep habits for her. 12 hour stretches without any wake ups consistently by 10 weeks. 4 month sle...
Absolutely loved — 12 hour stretches by 10 weeks, easy transition out, no wear after months of daily use
My Snoo baby was a dream to transition to the crib! She slept so much better than my non-Snoo baby in the crib because she didn't have a nursing/being held association to falling asleep. I wish I got a Snoo with my first, I am also getting a Snoo for my third baby. It was so good for my mental health postpartum to get more sleep.
Dream crib transition — better than non-Snoo baby, buying again for third child, postpartum mental health benefit
Snoo worked wonderfully for us. 3 hour sleep windows from night one. He was sleeping through the night before we transitioned him into his crib at 3 months sleeping about 7-7. He's going through a bit of a sleep regression now but only wakes up once around 2:30-3. It is a lifesaver I recommend it to everyone.
Lifesaver — sleeping through the night by 3 months, recommends to everyone
This. I never imagined I'd be a Snoo mom, but here we are. Baby does all naps in the crib now, but the Snoo has been amazing. We are only using it overnight at this point, but we get about 9 hours of sleep each night with only one wake for a feed around 3:30 AM (I breastfeed, so this has nothing to do with the Snoo not keeping baby asleep).
Amazing — 9 hours of sleep with only one wake, successfully transitioned naps to crib
Got such good use the last 6 months from our snoo!! It gave me many extra hours of sleep
6 months of good use — gave many extra hours of sleep
I bought it on offer up for $600, used it for 4 months, loved it (baby slept so well in it, and I was definitely getting 5-7 hour chunks of sleep pretty quickly), and sold it on offer up for $600. Was it worth it? Yes.
Loved it — 5-7 hour sleep chunks, bought and sold for same price so essentially free
Loved the SNOO and my baby is a wonderful sleeper. We had a transition plan and spent almost 2 months slowly transitioning from the SNOO to the crib. He was out of the SNOO by 5.5 months old. We also specifically paid attention to developing good sleep habits!
Loved it — baby is wonderful sleeper, successful 2-month transition to crib at 5.5 months
We got one and love it. Saved us a lot of late nights by soothing our little guy back to sleep when waking. The resale value is pretty good, so I don't see a downside.
Love it — saved late nights with soothing feature, good resale value
We bought the Snoo used from a friend for $700, including an extra mattress, sheets, and a few sleep sacks. It's absolutely worth that price, even with the subscription, I would try to get one used. That said I get that we are a sample of one, you should definitely ask around.
Absolutely worth the price — bought used for $700, positive even with subscription cost
