We're on my third baby and after trying a couple different bassinets (including the much-hyped Snoo, which honestly just wasn't for us), I can confidently say the HALO BassiNest Swivel Sleeper 3.0 is hands-down the best bedside bassinet out there! There's so much to love here, first off, the mesh sides are a total win for peace of mind. No stress about SIDS or suffocation since baby can safely snuggle close and my wife can peek in without even sitting up. The standout feature is that magical 36...
Hands-down best — third baby, tried Snoo first. 360° swivel lifesaver for C-section, mesh sides, super sturdy
The halo swivel is the only one I have experience with, but it's been so nice. The swivel feature is amazing and also doubles as an easy soother if baby needs a little motion to settle. The collapsing side is nice too- sometimes I just sling my arm over and tap his bottom and he is back asleep.
So nice — swivel feature amazing for soothing, collapsing side enables easy nighttime comfort
If it makes you feel better I feel like there's always going to be someone scaring you in the comments of a bassinet review! That being said, I loved my Halo Bassinest because I could have baby super close and visible, and easy to get in and out!
Loved it — baby super close and visible, easy to get in and out
Agreed! We also have the halo and love it. Baby boy is 7 weeks and consistently sleeping 5.5 hours in it for his first stretch at night. We've never had a problem with the mattress that it comes with. We have a low platform bed and I love that the halo swivels to be just about my height so baby and I are basically head to head while I'm in bed.
Love it — 5.5 hour first stretch at 7 weeks, swivel matches bed height, no mattress problems
Second the halo swivel! I got it for my second baby and it's amazing. Just moved my 5 month old out of it tonight. #endofanera
Amazing — used for full 5 months with second baby
Another vote for the Halo. My wife had a C-section, so being able to wing the baby over and lower the rail was a big help vs. having to sit up, reach down, pick the baby up.
Big help after C-section — swing baby over and lower rail vs full sit-up, specific use case
We got a Halo Bassinest from a family member who was done with it. They had the Luxe Swivel Sleeper version. So far, we've been really happy with the bassinet, it gets right up close to the bed, the push down wall is super nice - but we definitely don't use the "luxe" features. So, some of their other models may work just as well!
Really happy — gets close to bed, push-down wall super nice, luxe features unnecessary
Halo would be my choice. Used it for my first. I would disagree with the snoo, i think there are a lot of other affordable options. I'm sorry the facebook marketplace rout didn't work. I got both of our bassinets from there with great success. Maybe try again?
First choice — used for first child, prefers it over expensive smart bassinets
I loved the Halo Swivel 3.0 (without the vibration, etc). I would sometimes rock my baby to sleep with swiveling it back and forth. I never noticed a tilt. I thought the legs were kind of annoying but I got used to them. I think this bassinet is worth it because your baby can be so close to you and sleep is still safe for them which is important.
Loved it — swivel for rocking, no tilt issue, baby close while safe. Notes annoying legs as minor downside
