We got the newton nest wre got it a few months ago, and so far been super happy, does bassinet, crib an floorbed mode, solid wood, sturdy, comes with the conversion, and we got the bassinet and crib mattresses with it for free.
Super happy β does bassinet/crib/floorbed, solid wood, sturdy, free mattresses included
The newton bedside bassinet is what I loved too, it has adjustable levels so you can make it as high as your bed, it has a side that zips down so it is easy to get LO in and out, it is also pretty big and mine is tall and was able to use it till they started rolling at around 5 months. The only thing is it doesn't have wheels, but it is still easy to move.
Loved it β adjustable height, zip-down side, lasted 5 months for tall baby, easy to move despite no wheels
Don't have the others to compare, but we have the newton bassinet and we are very happy with it. Plus, baby sleeps amazingly in it.
Very happy β baby sleeps amazingly in it
We got the Newton galileo crib and mattress combo that can convert from a crib to a toddler bed later on which means it will last for a longer time. The crib itself is super sturdy and modern-looking, plus it was really easy to assemble (which is a win when you finally have an extra set of hands to help!) and it comes with the conversion kit. The mattress is firm, seems comfy to me and keeps it shape and quality. With the Newton combo, you get both together, so no extra stress trying to find a m...
Super sturdy, modern, easy assembly β comes with conversion kit and mattress, worth $500+
I was torn between similar options too. Honestly, I think a lot of the price difference with cribs comes down to branding and aesthetics. Babyletto has that sleek, modern look, and the price reflects that, but DaVinci is still solid quality without the higher price tag. However, I ended up going with the Newton Galileo, and I think it was worth it because it'll last a long timeβit converts into a toddler bed and actually comes with the conversion kit, which I noticed a lot of others don't so do ...
Worth it β converts to toddler bed with included kit, long-lasting, good value vs buying kit separately
I really liked my newton bedside. With the fold down side (stays down and pushed against bed) it was easy to get baby in and out. It's longer than a lot of bassinets. Height adjustable, but no wheels
Really liked it β fold-down side easy for transfers, longer than most bassinets, height adjustable
We have the newton bassinet and have had 0 issues. We have an old house with uneven floors in some areas, so I even put a level on it when we set it up. Also, in my area it's easy to find secondhand.
Zero issues β tested level on uneven floors, no problems, easy to find secondhand
Same here. We have the newton too and never had any issues with it
No issues β confirms reliability
