Hatch in baby's room but I have a dream egg in each diaper bag that you can pry from my cold, dead fingers.
Extremely attached — 'pry from my cold dead fingers.' Keeps one in each diaper bag, indicating critical portable role. Uses alongside Hatch (complementary, not replacement).
I really didn't care for the hatch. I'm picky about white noise, and really prefer deep toned brown noise, not the higher pitch stuff. I've bought two of these dream eggs and I love them. White Noise Machine - Dreamegg Sound Machine for Baby Kid Adult, Noise Machine for Sleeping with 24 Calming Sound, Ambient Nightlight, Continuous or Timer, Loud Sleep Machine for Home Nursery Office https://a.co/d/2ExL1Pl
Bought two — loves them. Specific: prefers deep brown noise over high-pitched white noise, 24 sounds, ambient nightlight, continuous play option. Switched from Hatch.
We've tried a lot and our current favorite is dreamegg. It has a battery backup for trips and powerloss. Also has multiple noises, and we like the deeper brown noise. We also like lectrofan, but they break easily. We love the Hatch for lighting because it's great for keeping a low light atmosphere, we use red and can attest that it does not keep anyone awake. But the white noise is very high pitched and none of us sleep well with a higher pitch like white or pink noise.
Current favorite after trying many. Specific: battery backup for trips and power loss, multiple noise options, deeper brown noise preferred. Beat both LectroFan and Hatch for sound.
We use this one every single day, it's great: Dreamegg White Noise Machine -... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBQX7P5J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Almost bought the hatch, but glad we didn't. This one has a lot of options (we usually stick with lullabies) and long battery life. We just bought a separate portable dimming night light.
Daily use, glad they chose this over Hatch. Specific: many sound options (use lullabies), long battery life. Only needed separate nightlight. Links to exact product.
We have the dream egg. It's on all night and for all naps, but we still only need to charge it every few days. The sound quality is good and I don't ever hear a "loop".
Runs all night plus all naps and only needs charging every few days. Specific: good sound quality, no audible loop in the sound. Impressive battery life for continuous use.
