I've used the hatch rest go for my baby boy since he was born. He's 8 months now and it's still going strong! Lasts about 2 nights + naps on just one charge and it's portable. Was also really handy one night when the power went out because he still had his sound machine while my husband and I were struggling to sleep in the silence in our room.
8 months daily use, still going strong. Specific: battery lasts ~2 nights plus naps per charge. Saved baby's sleep during power outage while parents suffered without theirs.
Hatch Rest Go. $40 small and portable. We take it on the go. LO has her own, so wife and I use this one every night ourselves!
Specific: $40 price point, small and portable, taken on-the-go. Family loves it so much parents use one nightly too. Owns multiple units.
I have the portable one and we love it. We do charge it during the day, using the phone charger. I hear the portable one has the shush sound for free which is the one we use, and supposedly the best. Was so tiny to bring on vacation too! No lights, simple design, baby gets to play with it when we bring it out with the stroller.
Loves it. Specific: charges with phone charger, free shush sound (best one), tiny size for vacation travel, simple design with no lights, baby-safe enough to play with on stroller.
Plus $90 for only few sounds and if you want the better ones you need to pay for the subscription.. It was a waste of money for us, I like the portable hatch better and we are using it everywhere, works better for us
Prefers portable Hatch over the $90 main Hatch Rest. Uses it everywhere. Works better for their needs than the expensive WiFi model they consider a waste.
We like the Hatch, but if you're looking for something more budget friendly, they also have their portable version called Rest Go which is around $40. Same Hatch quality, just doesn't use the app or have a light.
Recommends Rest Go as budget alternative at ~$40. Specific: same Hatch sound quality, no app required, no light feature. Positioned as simpler/cheaper version.
I think it's worth it, personally, BUT if I were doing this again I'd get a yoto mini with some white noise and bedtime music cards instead of a sound machine. The sound machine I have is the hatch rest go and I absolutely love it, it's served us well these past 10 months, but I'm getting her the yoto mini for her first birthday and I like getting as much use out of things as possible, so it kinda kills me to know that I could've just had one product that could do sound machine, music, podcasts,...
Loves it after 10 months of use. But hindsight wishes for more multi-functional device (Yoto Mini). Positive on sound machine function, slightly negative on limited longevity as child grows.
