I have a 13.5 month old and we have been using the "Fisher-Priceβ’ Baby to Toddler Bath 4-in-1 Sling 'N Seat Tub with Removable Infant Support" since the very beginning. I think we will keep using it for a while because right now he's still sitting in the seat insert so once he gets a little bigger we'll use it without the seat. I highly recommend it.
'Highly recommend', 13.5 months of continuous use from birth, still has room to grow β strong endorsement
I JUST asked a group chat I'm in for help with this exact problem (about 15 minutes ago) since I have the skip hop whale and the same problem - just doesn't seem ready for the next stage but he's too long for the newborn sling part. Four different moms all said the Fisher Price baby bath tub was one of their best purchases! So I'm sold
Four moms called it 'one of their best purchases' β strong social proof leading to purchase decision
The design was so bad. It basically has a plastic square piece smack dab in the center, designed to help prop up your baby, but the placement is awful. Their genitals basically sit right up against the cube piece, which makes it impossible to clean them. Plus, it has no padding for their heads. We are an oxo brand loyalist for most kitchen items, but this is one of the worst products I've purchased. We ended up getting the fisher price one with the washable sling instead, which we used daily for...
Daily use for first year with no issues, washable sling β strong positive (negative portion is about OXO, not Fisher Price)
We bought the oxo baby bath tub first and absolutely hated it. Upgraded to the fisher price 3-in-1 tub with the newborn sling. MUCH better.
'MUCH better' than OXO, upgraded to it β strong positive by comparison
[4-in-1 Sling n Seat Tub from Fisher Price](https://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-4-Sling-Seat-Tub/dp/B00F2MQ0EQ) I don't know why they have an old version and new version or what the difference is.... But I bought mine at Wal-mart (Canada), and we are really liking it so far. We've only used the sling so far. But it's easy to remove to clean the tub, we don't have problems with him slipping down or all over the place, and he gets to kick his feet in the bottom part now that he's big enough to re...
'Really liking it', no slipping, easy to clean, fun squirter accessory, used from one week old β detailed positive
I did end up getting this! He loves it and it works well!
Baby loves it and it works well β follow-up confirmation of purchase satisfaction
Bathing in the sink never worked for us, I found it awkward, maybe because I have a two section sink. I could have done it if I didn't have another option, but we used a fisher price baby bathtub that was like $20 and we still use it at almost 11 months old, so I think I got a fair amount of use out of it. It came with a sling to use for a newborn, then a little seat for when she just started sitting on her own but needed the extra support, then around 6-7 months I took that out and let her just...
$20 price, 11 months of use through all stages (sling, seat, open tub), saves water β excellent value positive
Second this FP 4in1 with the sling. I bought and tried all of the compact and trendy tubs (Puj, Angelcare, and Munchkin). The standard Fp tub is easiest for my girls.
Tried multiple alternatives (Puj, Angelcare, Munchkin), FP was 'easiest' β positive by direct comparison
I used the fisher price 4 in 1 for two kids and really liked it.
'Really liked it', used for two kids β durable enough for multiple children
The Fisher Price four in one with the sling has worked just fine for us. I like that I can set it on the floor of my walk in shower and bathe him there. It's a lot easier on my back than when I set it in the bathtub. LO is just under 4M old now. When he was brand new, we put the plastic seat in and braced his bottom on it to keep him more upright. I'd recommend trying a countertop sponge bath (or something similar) for the first couple of rounds. It's easier to keep the umbilical stump d...
'Worked just fine', shower floor use easier on back, describes newborn setup β practical positive
We have Fisher Price r in 1 and really like it. So far we have used Stage 1 and Stage 2 (baby is 5 months old).
'Really like it', progressing through stages at 5 months β positive ongoing experience
