My baby loves this one! She's picky. We'll also drape a nursing cover over it so it's shaded in there. Of course I'm always watching her! She won't let me set her in anything else and stay asleep 🥲🥲 Ingenuity SimpleComfort Compact Baby Swing, Rotating Seat Swings in 3 Directions, 6 Speeds, 8 Melodies & 3 Nature Sounds, Ages 0-9 Months, Up to 20 Pounds - Chambray
Picky baby loves it, only container baby will stay asleep in, names specific model (SimpleComfort Compact), 3-direction rotating seat
I have 7 week old B/G twins. They like the mamaroo and the Graco Duetconnect Swing and Bouncer LX. I got it off Amazon. You could probably find a mamaroo on Facebook marketplace. I got mine off of goodbuygear .com Ingenuity SmartBounce Automatic Baby Bouncer Seat with Music & Nature Sounds is the product that has been my lifesaver though. it lets me put my needy son down. He is the type that always wants to be held.
Lifesaver for needy Velcro baby who always wants to be held, names specific model (SmartBounce Automatic), solved hands-free problem
Mine didn't like the swing much, BUT our Ingenuity 2-in-1 had an option for the main piece to pop off and become a buzzy seat that we could rock. He did really like that and we used it for several months! It was so helpful so I could fold laundry or something.
Baby didnt like swing mode but loved detachable buzzy seat, used for several months for laundry — positive for the rocker function specifically
Our baby likes his swing, just a random ingenuity brand one we're borrowing from someone. We also have one of those domes you put on the ground, our 4mo likes being in that if there's things hanging down in his eyesight. But it's only for 10-15m and he's 4m. I don't think a lot of babies will sit somewhere like that for 30+ mins, but swings can help more than bouncers because of the movement
Baby likes it, notes swings help more than bouncers due to movement, realistic about 10-15 min timeframe at 4 months
My second baby is 7 weeks old and we're using the second-hand ingenuity one we've had since my 4.5 yo was a baby. I don't remember how much we used with my first. My issue with using it now is it doesn't seem to keep her happy while she's awake wanting to be held and it's not safe to use when she's sleeping. We don't really use it all that much but at least it's pretty small. IMO, you could go without it for now and if you decide you want it later you can look for a used one.
Still working after 4.5 years (durability), but doesnt keep baby happy while awake, barely used — mixed with note about longevity
