My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow

Worth it, I'm on baby number two and I take it everywhere. Restaurant, car, ppls houses. It's amazing if you get napped trapped and forget something because you can literally walk with the baby on the pillow holding them and they stay asleep. Or I can have baby on it and transfer to their sleep space. You can also lean and move without having to worry about the pillow slipping forward. I used the pillow up until my kid was 2 and then got rid of it when we weened. Baby 2 is 7 months.

1000% My Brest Friend, fuck the Boppy

Everyone I know that used my brest friend loved it. I've heard mixed reviews on the boppy - some love, some hate. Don't know anything about the momcozy. Personally loved my brest friend, and used it for our whole 18month nursing journey!

I love it! I'd get up, fasten it around me...the pocket was great to hold my phone and Burp rag...then I'd pick baby up and go change his diaper wearing the pillow like a tutu...then go feed him on the couch! I was ready from the get go and he was super comfy on it

MBF stan over here, especially with a newborn. I like the clip-on aspect, and the fact that I can get baby up really high near my breast. Whenever I try a Boppy, I feel like baby rolls towards me, and she doesn't get as good a latch. I think I stop using MBF around 3 months, but by then, I can just use pillows, etc. And I've definitely walked around the house with it clipped around my waist. It's a look…but it is superior

I really like the firmness of the Brest friend. The small back part is pretty supportive and I love the option to clip around the waist. I've actually used it when clipped on to help take strain off my back when rocking baby to sleep (obviously still holding him)

Worth it. Still using it every nursing session for my 5 month old! I like that it's sturdy. Preferred it over the Boppy for sure

I found the boppy didn't work with a very new/small baby because they would slip better the pillow and my body and I was constantly readjusting. The My Breast Friend solves this since it had a clip to fasten the pillow to your body. I used it for every feeding at home birth-6months. Purchased used on fb marketplace for $15 from someone who bought with good intentions and didn't end up nursing so it was like new.

I have larger breasts (DDD before pregnancy) and the football hold was all we could do for the first couple weeks/ month until she got a little bigger and stronger. But SO MANY holds open up once they can hold their head up! It does get better!! I absolutely second everyone who recommended the my breast friend. The big difference between it and the boppy is its larger so it holds the baby higher, saving your back; and it straps around you, so you'll have a free hand (you won't have to hold it ...

I'd buy another if I had a second kid so I could keep one in the living room and one in the nursing chair to avoid schlepping. It supported baby well, was sturdy, and only a bit fussy to snap around me. Didn't love Boppy. It moved out of position too easily. Baby didn't like it for helping with tummy time or sitting. The best thing about the Boppy was sitting on it while my stitches healed.

I have Boppy and My Breast Friend - MBF is GOAT. It's a little cumbersome; my family jokes that it's my inner tube. But I find it's well worth it. The best features: The flat and firm shelf (as you know baby falls into the middle of the Boppy) The little pocket (I can stash breast pads, lanolin) Turns well to support multiple holds (eg if you want to move from front position like cradle to side position like football)

I got both the boppy and my brest friend pillows. The Brest friend one was my go to for the first few months since it is more of a firm foam pillow and props them up better. I use them interchangeably since my son was about 3 months since he was bigger and we both had a better handle on breastfeeding.

My son is 15 months now and I still use one for the one time he nurses before bed. I started with the My Brest Friend. It was especially great to use when cluster feeding. And even better for the contact naps. He'd pass out on the pillow and I'd be able to use my arms to play video games or read. Eventually I got the Frida Mom nursing pillow which is what I still use now. It is more plush so it's a bit more comfortable for both of us.
