LectroFan It creates it's own sounds instead of playing a recording. When the recordings start over, we may not hear it, but our subconscious does and it can be disruptive to sleep. I have 4, 6 month old, 3yr old, 18yro, and in the adults room. Lol they're awesome.
Owns 4 units across all ages (6mo to 18yr to adults). Specific: generates sounds rather than playing recordings, avoids subconscious disruption from loop resets. Whole-family adoption.
If you can afford it, the lectro fan is worth it. It's run every night for 3 years now and no issues and no looping sound. Before we bought it we used an old phone with Spotify or Bluetooth and there was always drama (battery running out, disconnecting from speaker etc)
Three years nightly use, zero issues. Specific: no looping sound, solved phone/Bluetooth drama (battery dying, disconnections). Reliable dedicated device.
Lectrofan- we've been using one ourselves for probably 3 years and going strong, so added one to the nursery too. When baby was newborn and pissed off, sometimes we layered with the Heartbeat sound on the phone app "white noise"
Three years of personal use, still going strong. Liked it enough to buy a second for nursery. Used layered with phone app for fussy newborn.
LectroFan High Fidelity White Noise Machine with 20 Unique Non-Looping Fan and White Noise Sounds and Sleep Timer. Plugs in and doesn't stop. We had the dohm but it started squeaking after a year or so.
Specific: 20 unique non-looping sounds, plugs in, runs continuously without stopping. Replaced Dohm which developed squeaking. Reliable always-on operation.
There's free apps. Do you have an old phone? I have this from Amazon since 2017 Adaptive Sound Technologies LectroFan High Fidelity White Noise Machine with 20 Unique Non-Looping Fan and White Noise Sounds and Sleep Timer
Owned since 2017 — approximately 7 years of use at time of comment. Specific product: 20 non-looping sounds, sleep timer. Still recommending it after years of ownership.
We have the hatch too and the sounds are awful. I cannot understand why it's so popular. We also have the dohm, but I ended up using it for me because it is not loud enough for the baby's room in my opinion. We landed on the lectrofan for the baby's room. Dohm has the best sound, but I just don't think it's loud enough to block out the sounds of the house.
Chose LectroFan for baby's room after trying both Hatch (awful sounds) and Dohm (not loud enough). Specific: loud enough to block household sounds where Dohm failed.
