We did the Joie Ginger with the Mint Latch and LOVE both. My 9mo is about to outgrow the Mint and I'm so sad that we're having to leave the LATCH system behind because it is so. Dang. Convenient. For those early days.
'LOVE both' — used Ginger + Mint Latch for 9 months. LATCH system described as 'so dang convenient.' Sad to outgrow it, which signals strong satisfaction.
We had the joie ginger and rue and it was great! Very light weight, bassinet mode too, very smooth ride, pretty easy to fold and unfold, you can flip the seat facing out or in, it had everything I was looking for!
Owned Ginger + Rue combo — highlights lightweight, bassinet mode, smooth ride, easy fold, reversible seat. 'Had everything I was looking for.'
I have the mint latch car seat with the Ginger stroller. Was between that and the Hazel, and made my choice based on which one had the color I liked more lol. I have zero complaints and will be sticking with Joie until my kiddo is out of car seats!
'Zero complaints' with Mint Latch + Ginger combo. Plans to stay with Joie brand through all car seat stages — strong long-term endorsement.
Felt the same way when I was researching. I ultimately decided on the following set up. Joie Nutmeg and Mint Latch Infant Car Seat - affordable and great reviews - this will be my quick in the car and on the go stroller . I also really like that the seat has a bassinet mode and not another $200/300 attachment needed. This set up and price tag allows me to have a bigger budget for a convertible carseat which will last years compare to 6 months before it gets too heavy. Veer Jogger - this ...
Chose Nutmeg + Mint Latch for affordability and built-in bassinet mode (no $200-300 separate attachment). Strategic choice to save budget for convertible seat.
We love our Joie Ginger! We got the Ginger LX with the Rue car seat combo, which has a base. They also have an option to pair it with the Mint, which is a baseless car seat. The LX stroller has a few more features but if you wanna save a little bit more you could get the Regular Ginger. They have a few other stroller models that are also worth looking at that are all a little different.
Love Joie Ginger LX + Rue car seat. Appreciates multiple options (base/baseless, LX/regular). Good feature variety and value tiers.
I haven't gotten mine out of the box yet to know how great it is. But I got the Joie ginger travel system. So it has the infant car seat that can click right into the stroller. My mom recommended me get one because she said having that was a lifesaver for her. I tried the joie nutmeg in store at target and felt like it was pretty well made. So that's why I went with them. And the stroller from the travel system lasts up to 50lbs.
Joie Ginger system chosen after hands-on testing of Nutmeg at Target. Felt well-made. 50lb stroller capacity. Mom's recommendation influenced choice.
I ended up going with the Joie Mint + Hazel combo, but went back and forth between that and the Chicco Corso for so long. The Hazel stroller does have a near flat nest mode, and extra large canopy which I appreciate.

If you like the look of the Nuna, Target is now carrying the Joie line. It was a UK line that recently launched in the US and more affordable.
Joie positioned as affordable Nuna alternative. Similar aesthetics at lower price. Available at Target.
Joie!
Enthusiastic brief recommendation. High upvote count (14) suggests community agreement.
Joie is the same manufacturer as Nuna but half the price. They don't use the flame retardant free materials though
Same manufacturer as Nuna at half price. Tradeoff is different materials. Good value but transparent about difference.
