If breastfeeding, most IBLC will say lansinoh, Pigeon and another. But some babies just like some better than others. We got a small box of several brands to try before buying a lot of bottles! Some daycares only accept certain materials too. My hot take is anything glass or silicone over plastic.

Our lactation consultant recommended pigeon bottles and they work great! We got the glass ones and they're easy to clean - only 3 pieces plus cap.

My LO wouldn't latch at all after he was given formula in the nursery 2 days after he was born. We had to use a nipple shield and had to continue giving formula top ups. We used the Pigeon Slim Neck bottle and had no issues with it.

Another for pigeon! We started with SS nipples and just moved up to S at 6 months because I noticed baby was pursing her lips around the nipple and clicking. Moving up to S solved that problem and still no issues with switching from bottle to breast.

I own the Gulicola bottles too, and they worked great! Sometimes the dupe is better than the name brand, when the name brand is marked in lead paint 🤣 I probably shouldn't joke about it because OP does not need to worry about the old scandal, today's Lansinoh/Pigeon bottles are perfectly fine. Today I would just get the name brand. But in 2024 I was kinda annoyed by the whole debacle, so all my "Lansinoh" bottles are actually off-brand like Gulicola.

Just a note that many daycares do not accept glass so keep this in mind if baby has to go to daycare at any point! We chose stainless steel pura Kiki bottles with pigeon or Lansinoh nipples recommended by our lactation consultant. A little pricey but quick to heat and you don't have to worry about the microplastic issue of warming plastic bottles. We found some used on fb marketplace. It also doesn't break like glass. I've heard life factory is also manufacturing a stainless steel bottle now.

Pigeon bottles with SS nipple were the recommendation from our LC for colic.

We use Gulicola glass bottles and Pigeon glass bottles, both with Pigeon size S nipples by recommendation of our incredible lactation consultant. 9 months EP and going strong!

I used the pigeon nipple specifically (manufactured by same company as lansinoh but it's a softer silicone I think) and it worked fine in the chicco cap!

My lactation consultant recommend Pigeon, Lansinoh and Dr Browns. We used both Pigeon and Lansinoh and they worked well.

Our LC recommended Lansinoh, too. And there are slow-flow nipples you can get, either Lansinoh brand or Pidgeon brand.

We also used pigeon lowest flow pigeon nipples at the advice of our lactation consultant.
