I am now the mother to a 17mo (wtf?!) and am currently spooning/straddling my Fridamom body pillow. Loved it then love it now.
I purchased the Frida mom pregnancy pillow that you're able to bend into either a U, C, L or I shape. It has a cover that helps with cooling especially on nights that you're extra hot. I've been using it since tri 1 but has been super helpful in tri 2 due to hip and lower back pain.
My Fridamom pillow!!! Highly adjustable and not stupidly large
Side sleeper here, I will switch sides roughly 10-20 times a night according to my spouse, and usually sleep with a small square pillow between my knees. I tried a body pillow, it was too firm for me. I'm 29w now. My husband got me the Frida Mom last week and so far it's been good. I like that I can shape it and it's light enough that I can move it with me.
I have the Frida mom one but my go to is actually just a normal king sized pillow
My MIL got me the Frida Mom pillow in my first trimester and I thought it wouldn't be good but I couldn't sleep without it. My baby is 1 month old and I still use the pillow sometimes. It's good if you're a "pillow hugger" because it's long and can stack you hips too.
Yeah, I haven't tried the Frida pillow but I think you're right! Seems like the only major difference is the bbhugme is oeko-tex 100 if you care about that.
10m PP and I'm still using the Frida one between my knees. It stays cool, doesn't take up tons of space in the bed, and is easy to wash.
I am very particular about my pillows (I get migraines and have neck issues) so I got the Frida pillow. It helps keep my hips aligned but I can still use my normal pillow
Ok, I went through a lot of pregnancy pillows before I found "the one" but everyone is different. I'd ask for her input here because sleep and comfort is sacred - helping her do the research based on her needs is a lot more valuable than surprising her with one she might not jive with. Does she sleep hot? Does she roll around a lot or have REstless leg syndrome & need to get up a lot? Is she having trouble getting up? Does she need more back, belly or leg support? Does she want more firm or mo...
I bought a "baby Bub" second hand because it was influenced upon me through all the ads but I absolutely hate the wedges despite the fact that I totally LOVE the leg prop (long pillow). I also tried to buy a Friday mom pregnancy pillow from target and we brought it home and it literally made no sense had zero support. I do sometimes wish that I had purchased a nice big U shaped pillow from amazon but to be very honest with you- I have had the best nights sleep with my own pillows from home. I pr...
