Babybub pillow hands down. I was skeptical since I was getting so many ads for it but then I slept with it every; single night from the beginning of second trimester on, even postpartum to support my wobbly stomach post C-section. I would pack it if I traveled. I found the leg extension attachment to be amazing too as a knee pillow (I didn't actually attach it to the main pillow).
I have both baby bub and a pharmedoc c-shaped body pillow. I've been sleeping with the pharmedoc over the last 3 weeks or so and honestly love it but not necessarily for pregnancy reasons lol. It's just nice to cuddle with a big, soft pillow, and having something between my knees for spine alignment. It doesn't always keep me from rolling on my back though so I wake up intermittently at night. The baby bub I didn't think was very comfortable, but now that my bump is bigger I might give it an...
I've gotta say you might want to try the baby bub with the attachment. I didn't think I loved it at first but I'm now on my second pregnancy and couldn't live without it. It's so nice to be in bed without 100lbs of random pillow around you and just get supported right where you need & stop you from laying flat on your back but still be there in both directions when you roll. I also detached the pillow and brought it to my induction & it was the BEST experience ever to have it with me without ta...
I really loved the baby bub. Much better than a typical edge pillow! I liked that it was small but supportive. I didn't want a massive pillow taking up the whole bed. It was also easy enough to switch sides when using in the night. And, my PT approved it for the belly support!
I loved the baby bub. It's not huge , but omg the support for the back and the belly is unbeatable. You can also modify it to fit her best. Used it last pregnancy and will use it for this one
I got the baby bub wedge pillow and loved it. I liked that i could adjust the wedges to give me as much or as little support as I wanted. You can buy a separate piece that goes between your legs for extra support but I just used a pillow. The back and belly support is great and there wasn't really too much to adjust if I rolled over. I had a C Shaped pillow with my first pregnancy and would choose the wedge over it any day of the week. It wasnt as supportive and was a lain when it came to tryi...
I have the Babybub - it is a butterfly type pillow but the Velcro has never crapped out on me. And I use the Momcozy knee pillow - this is a game changer for the hips. It has an elastic band that slides onto one of your legs so the pillow stays in place even as you change positions throughout the night. I absolutely adore it.
Everyone is different but I personally loved the Baby Bub wedge pillow. The traditional pregnancy pillows were just too cumbersome and some are heavy so they weren't my jam but I find the Baby Bub to be perfect. https://www.babybub.com/products/pillow?currency=USD&variant=40064471564387&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=bf2f6e5af47c&utm_source=google&utm_medium=x&utm_campaign=18251255434&utm_content=&utm_term=&ref=smart&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpZWzBhC0ARIs...
I've been rotating between a big C shaped pillow, the baby bub wedge pillow, and just a couple of standard pillows lol. I've found each of them comfortable at various points but also have gotten aggravated by them at some points too haha. Right now I'm just using a standard pillow under my head and another one between my knees lol. Tomorrow I will probably be back to the C shape 🤣
Seconding the babybub coupled with a body pillow I use for my knees and ankles
I got the one that is like a taco stand and it's really helped. Something like this, I'm sure a cheaper version exists too https://www.babybub.com/products/pillow?utm_source=google&utm_medium=g&utm_campaign=22021489395&utm_content=725545965779&utm_term=&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22021489395&gbraid=0AAAAAo6BwvvZEq91fcoQ10CVT3h-sesHe&gclid=Cj0KCQjwjL3HBhCgARIsAPUg7a5plQxdUfDNEQzDJnDMaU4ZZwEPjVVoFTOvRaLJ8Py_n3XyP-bW6xYaAsePEALw_wcB
I'm using the baby bub! I started using it at like 8 weeks when I realized I needed to train myself to not sleep on my back. I really like it! I intend to buy the longer attachment for it later down the line.
Another vote for BabyBub. It's so small I don't feel a million miles away from my husband, but it supports my bump and back well. It's also not too big since it's small! I got the full body attachment but haven't needed it much yet. Might change as I get heavier as I'm only 23 weeks
I like the one I have from babybub. It stays together overnight.
Since OP already has a Velcro pillow in this style, I'd recommend trying a few stitches or safety pins to keep the sides together rather than buying a new BabyBub. I also have a knockoff that doesn't hold together well but I (carefully) added some safety pins to the Velcro flap and it works fine.
I have the baby bub with the long pillow as well (costs extra). It's really versatile bc you can used both wedges, a wedge and the long piece, just the long piece, etc.
I'm a stomach sleeper too! I've had luck with the babybub pillow. I did get their additional pillow for between my legs and it was too flat to be supportive, so I'd skip that extra bit. Instead I just put a regular but thick pillow between my legs in a side sleeping position. Or I'll lay on my side with my "down" leg straight, put the regular but thick pillow in front of my hips and thighs, and then with my "top" leg I will bend and rest it on top of the thick pillow - I can kind of tilt toward ...
I tried the big u, the baby bub, and the wedge. Of these three the bub was best and is what I would recommend. Even better is the full body attachment and a good maternity band. Details below: - The big u was awful - lots of women love this but I found it overheated me and made me feel like I was suffocating. It also forces you to use it as a neck pillow which strained my neck. I tried flipping it around the opposite way but the fit wasn't right. - The bub was pretty easy to turn around with ...
I hate to add a third, because it's expensive but I currently have two pillows- one was gifted from friends as I waited for my babybub order to come in- and the gift one (a traditional giant c shaped one) is just used as a bolster to watch TV. But for sleeping, that babybub works great for me. It took a while to figure out which side was best for the velcro, and the "bean" often gets lost if I toss and turn, but even with all that, I would buy again in a second.
i got a small pillow that has two pillows each about a foot long and 8ish inch wide where one goes under my bump and the other goes by my low back and theres a velcro strap that goes under me to connect them. and then i use a big fuzzy blanket to put under my knees and hug near my chest. im 35 weeks along and find this a super comfortable setup, i prefer the blanket to a big pregnancy pillow cause i can mold it into whatever shape i want and it doesnt take up too much room. i started this setup ...
