We use the Dr browns milk spa. Perfect milk temperature every time. You can set it to the type of bottle (or bag) and how many ounces. Bottle is never hot to take out but milk is somehow always great. It takes a good 6 min to heat up 4-5 ounces from the fridge.
'Perfect milk temperature every time'; describes settings (bottle type, oz); bottle not hot to touch; specific timing of 6 min for 4-5oz; strong positive
Happy with the simple Dr Browns one, just got a second for the upstairs.
Happy enough to buy a second unit for upstairs; 'simple' as a positive trait; purchasing duplicate indicates strong satisfaction
We have the Dr Browns Milkspa and are happy with it. It's not super fast, but I like that you can be more precise with all the settings: glass, plastic, or bag + room temp, refrigerated, or frozen + number of ounces. It makes me more confident that it won't overheat the milk. That being said, we only started heating milk in a desperate attempt at anything to reduce gas and getting baby to gain weight. I doubt it helped at all in that regard, but we're all used to it now. If your baby will take i...
Happy with precise settings (glass/plastic/bag, temp state, ounces); notes it's not super fast but confidence in not overheating; positive with speed caveat
I bought the Dr Browns one. It was inexpensive and it works well.
Cites good value (inexpensive) and it works well; simple positive with price detail
Munchkin or Dr Browns. I like both but the Munchkin eventually broke, but we also got it second hand.
Likes Dr Browns (and Munchkin); Munchkin broke but Dr Browns implied still working; positive comparison
I use a Munchkin digital one from Target. It does get pretty warm. But, it just takes time to figure out how long to set the timer for/ how many ounces you have. I have a Doc Brown's I keep at my sister's house; good, but slower.
Keeps Dr Brown's at sister's house (multiple locations = confidence); notes it's 'good, but slower' than Munchkin; positive with speed caveat
We like this one too! However my LOs appetite is now at ~8oz a bottle. We love the tall Dr Browns bottles but the full 8oz doesn't fit in this warmer. It was great until he surpasses the 6oz mark.
Liked it ('was great') but outgrew it — 8oz tall Dr Browns bottles don't fit; specific size limitation that emerged over time
I love our Philips one! We also had a dr browns one but it was steam rather than a water bath which worked faster but our glass bottles felt dangerously hot from the steam so I'd definitely recommend Philips over dr browns
Steam method made glass bottles 'dangerously hot'; switched to Philips; recommends against Dr Browns for glass bottle users; safety-driven negative
Dr browns scolded my hand sleep deprived with a 2 week old infant with colic. I hate those things so much. They are so dangerous
Scalded hand while sleep-deprived; 'I hate those things so much' and 'so dangerous'; safety concern from direct experience; strongly negative
Do not get the Dr. Browns deluxe bottle warmer and sterilizer. We previously liked the Dr. Browns milk spa and thought this would be a newer better version, boy were we wrong. Cons - poor heating, milk still cold despite turning up setting - terrible handle design- bottle is too hot to grab and the handle that they have is on the inside so that is also hot to grab. Not ideal for middle of the night where you have one hand - requires lots of water refill - designed with gravity so when you r...
'Do not get' and 'Pros: NONE'; detailed negatives about poor heating, dangerous handle design, excessive water refills; previously liked Milk Spa but deluxe model is awful
