UPPAbaby Vista

Have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE the vista v2, but we live downtown and mostly walk everywhere. Although breaking it down to put in the trunk isn't too much of a hassle (IMO) takes about 30 seconds and love that the car seat clicks right in sooo easily.

Parent of three here. Have you looked at the uppababy vista? Wheels are chunky but come off, very sturdy, great customer service - we had a problem with the frame of ours years after the warranty had gone and they replaced it free no questions asked. I'm not sure if it stands on end , but we got it in the back of our van - with another pushchair - very easily once the wheels are off. Can't recommend enough

If you have the money, the uppababy system was great for us. We got the Cruz stroller, the Aria car seat, two car seat bases (one for each car), and the bassinet attachment. The car seat and the bassinet attachment clicked directly into the stroller, and the car seat clicked directly into the bases in each car. Honestly the best investment for our family. We are apartment people, so clicking baby into car seat and strolling to parking garage and just having to transfer the seat was so helpful.

Just purchased the Uppababy Vista V3 from Bloomingdales a month ago, and also have the Uppababy Mesa V2 car seat. So far I love it, and no regrets! It is a beautiful stroller, incredibly smooth ride and folds up pretty compactly. Highly recommend this stroller/ car seat combo.

FTM to a 7 month old. Did a vista v3 w chicco keyfit infant seat w 2 bases & an adapter for the vista. Bassinet attachment too. We walked every single day this past summer for my entire leave on every single terrain possible - gravel pavement sand grass dirt etc w no issues.

Love my UppaBaby travel system. We have a single level house so we just used the bassinet from the travel system as her bassinet and rolled it around the house as needed throughout the day. Used the rumble seat for walks, used the car seat for when we drove somewhere. Super convenient and for the first few weeks it was always in use except during breastfeeding and diaper changes.

I also live in the centre of Glasgow! We have a car but use it maybe once a month to visit family so depending on your area you should be fine. A few folk have recommended John Lewis but we went to the Glasgow Pram Centre near the Barras. It's massive and you can try loads of prams out. You know what your use and circumstances are, so need to look for a pram that fits your lifestyle best. We chose the Aria and Vista and love the combo. Ours is a V2, but overall I think the V3 is close enough that I'd recommend the pair. I think with either seat your kid is probably going to be out by about the 6m mark give or take a bit. My SIL's baby was out of the Nuna Aire and the travel version at 5m and when I put my baby in those seats he's not really any better. They're close in age and no one expected such a short use time, so we put my shorter baby in as a tester. With the safety aspect in mind, the Aria and the Aire are pretty similar. Both have a load leg, both have an anti rebound bar, both have the same type of full foam padding throughout the seat. I'm not sure there is any further data available to determine which is safer. We liked the Aria because it's cheaper and clicks straight into the Minu and Vista. I think we needed a set of adapters for the Minu…probably…but I just can't 100 percent remember off the top of my head. We mostly used the bassinet, not the car seat, but it was so nice having options. Also, the Aria has a pull ring to adjust the padding whereas you have to undo more of the seat on the Aire. If weight is a concern, the Aria is technically lighter by a noticeable amount, although you do get stronger over time. I'm disabled and have surprised myself a ton now at 6m. The Vista frame is nbd to get into the car now. YMMV of course and I do think the lighter seats are worth the money. Cruz vs Vista wise, I'd go with the Vista. The wheels are bigger and so it will be smoother for you and the baby.

My wife is the one who did all the research on strollers, and we had wayyyy too many strollers for different applications (most second hand from fb marketplace) That being said, the fav combo is the uppababy infant seat, mini stroller, full size stroller, bassinet, and 2x infant seat base. It works well for us, traveling(flying) with the mini is easy, and we have the skateboard attachment and 2nd seat for the full stroller.

I have the uppababy vista v2 and know the cruz is a similar design - I can't recommend it enough. It might be a bigger pram but it's very comfortable and the basket is huge and amazing for going to the shops and park etc. My friend also has it and did her wee boy until he was 3

We've got an Uppababy Vista and love it - big basket for shopping and fab in woodland. Might be on the big side but I can fit it in the boot of my fiesta!

I think this depends on what city you live in and how much walking you'll be doing day-to-day. We have and love our Vista (LOVED the bassinet but baby outgrew it by 3 months) and have taken it to DC a few times with no issues but it was a pain to have in NYC (smaller doorways, lots of subway stations had elevator outages). You say you have a car so maybe public transportation doesn't apply! Before having a baby I scoffed at people who said you need multiple strollers, but now I totally get it

There's definitely an overwhelming amount of options… You can definitely do a combo one that's the car seat and stroller like the Doona. I think this is best for people who live in big cities or travel a lot. I personally don't think they're worth it.. you gotta buy a new car seat and stroller when they get bigger. You could get a bigger, travel system which is a good deal. Something like an UPPABaby vista or a mockingbird for a more budget friendly option with a car seat adapter is very nice

If you think you might not like the Vista and may trade it out, get a non-Uppababy car seat. Their car seats are basically only compatible with their strollers. I have the vista + aria and love it. It definitely is heavy, but we are on unpaved terrain often (parks, walks). Big wheels are necessary for that kind of terrain and that will necessarily make the stroller heavy. I'm hopeful it'll be useful for baby #2 as well (either ride board or second seat). I plan to use it as our only stroller - for travel, all walks/trips, etc. I also like the idea of a Bugaboo + Nuna pairing. The nice thing about Bugaboo is the rider board has a seat.

My husband is 6'6, and we have vista and aria. We're only 4 weeks in, but so far so good. It's big, but we walk a ton, and the vista handles our bumpy sidewalks like a champ. The aria is light, which is helpful since our baby was big, thanks to aforementioned 6'6 husband.

We have the uppababy vista for our everyday pram. The basket is huge, very study, but is quite big (probably because you can convert to a double pram so it needs the strength). We have a joolz aer for our travel pram which is also fantastic.

It really really depends on your lifestyle, where you live, what your budget is. I got an Uppababy Vista. I really liked it and it moves so smoothly. It's sturdy for more rural walks and folds well. It was pretty expensive though! But we use it a lot so I think we'll get our money's worth.

Agreed with the comments that it is VERY lifestyle dependent. We live in a city, walking miles a day, use a car about once a week, so wanted something durable. We also knew we would likely try for a second child relatively quickly, so wanted something that could turn into double stroller. We went with the Uppababy Vista, it has been perfect for our needs. But if I was in/out of the car more, walking less, I would have gone with a lighter stroller.

I highly recommend looking for second hand options. We got an UppaBaby Cruz V1 in 2022 for $200 on Facebook marketplace. Tag says it was made in 2018 and the thing is a tank. It came with the bassinet and I bought a new UppaBaby car seat to go with it. We are expecting baby 2 now and will have a 27-month age gap. I plan on buying the new UppaBaby Minu Duo to use with both kids.

What city are you in and what car do you have? I have the Vista V3. It's a great stroller for walking and holds so much in the basket. So if you are out and about your city, running errands, etc. You will fit so much in the basket. It is larger though. Where do you plan to keep it while not using it? Right now, I am in an apartment without a garage so I keep it just parked next to my dining table (not ideal, terrible). I would like to keep it in my trunk, but it would be difficult getting it out while holding my baby. Do you have a large trunk? I have a Honda CRV and it just fits. Like an inch bigger and it wouldn't fit. Latey, I keep my small travel stroller in my trunk for when we are out and Vista is for neighborhood walks. If I were you, I would look into the Cruz V3. It is very intriguing to me as you wouldnt need the bassinet (after a few months, you'll need a place to store it and if you are in an apartment, I would guess you don't have tons of space).

We decided to go with the uppababy vista. I wanted something that was sturdy and smooth. I got the bassinet attachment and will be doing the nuna pipa car seat with it. I was not impressed with all the graco and nuna strollers. They felt very flimsy when I tried them in stores.

Fellow apartment dweller (3rd floor walkup turned elevator building last year thank god). I actually had the Vista for about 8 months and don't get me wrong it's a solid stroller. Great storage, super sturdy, and if you're planning multiple kids it has that expandability. BUT I did end up switching to the Orbit Baby system and don't regret it one bit, the main difference being the rotating seat. We have the Uppababy Vista V2. I will say it is BULKY. Aside from taking up the entire trunk of the car, it also can barely fit in small doorways, elevators, and in small stores. I actually dread going into small places with this thing. I do love the suspension and how smooth it rides, but for city life in an elevator building I'd probably suggest going smaller and getting a Cruz (if you still want Uppababy) or a different stroller altogether like the Nuna Mixx.

I have the Uppababy Vista and my biggest complaint is how BIG it is. I leave the house nearly every day and could not get that thing loaded in and out of the car smoothly. We ended up making it our garage stroller and it's used daily for walking the kiddo with the dogs, but that's it. For the most part, I used a carrier or hip carrier until recently when I sprung for the Uppababy Minu V3 travel stroller. I LOVE it. Even as a travel stroller, it's buttery smooth, collapsible with one hand and light enough to easily carry. Personally, I would consider the Cruz. Smaller foot print, not as heavy, doesn't take up your entire car.

The uppababy vista is one of my biggest regret purchases. It's big/bulky (26lbs I recall), I have two that are 23 months apart and we can't use it as a double bc my first is so big, and it takes up a ton of space. I have a Volvo SUV and it takes up my entire trunk space. If I did it again, I would have gotten something more lightweight and smaller (minu or Cruz).

The vista is a very wide and heavy stroller! Definitely would opt for at least the Cruz if you really are set on it. We live in London and use the Stokke Yoyo
