I have the Avent one and I love mine. I can do 2 sets of pump parts, 6-8 bottles, and a poop ton of small parts on the top rack. Dries the best when not overcrowded but still does an amazing job imo.
Loves it. Fits 2 pump part sets, 6-8 bottles, and 'a poop ton' of small parts on top rack. Best when not overcrowded.
I still use my Philips Avent sterilizer daily, baby is almost 8 months. I think it's a worthwhile purchase if your baby will be mostly bottle fed and you have the extra counter space.
Still uses Philips Avent sterilizer daily at almost 8 months. Worthwhile if bottle-fed. Notes counter space needed.
philips microwave sterilizer. we got it second hand from my sil, used it for the first 8 months then switched to the dishwasher with the sanitize cycle on. (im aware its not the same as sterilizing)
Used Philips microwave sterilizer secondhand for 8 months, then switched to dishwasher. Adequate for the period used.
The avent one is good! I dislike the one I bought from momcozy. Like most steam sterilizers you have to take it out right away otherwise it's too hot. The avent one just us a pool of water that warms.
'The avent one is good!' Uses a pool of water that warms. Prefers it over Momcozy's steam method.
I've owned both of these and I found that the brezza dried better and was MUCH quieter.
Owned both. Brezza dried better and was 'MUCH quieter.' Phillips inferior on both key metrics.
Definitely NOT Phillips, we've got this after accidentally broken our brezza, it's the worst compared to brezza. It won't dry the bottles properly, smaller than brezza which you need that triple layers for sure! And we do drying twice for each washes to get them a little bit more dry (45 mins each), brezza would make your life easier, nearly the same price range and definitely massive difference of quality.
'Definitely NOT Phillips.' Won't dry bottles properly. Smaller than Brezza. 'The worst compared to brezza.' Double dry cycles needed.
Thats just it, its frustrating when you do everything with one hand holding the baby, and the steriliser/dryer won't do the only job they need to be doing.. have to empty the bottom part and yes I experienced this too! Then put the dryer function twice.. With Brezza everything was wonderful! I don't even know why I didn't go for it again..
Frustrating one-handed with baby. Must empty bottom, run dryer twice (45 min each). 'The worst' compared to Brezza.
